Stationed in Italy, want this phone, can I just go to the store this week and start using all the tools in the dev thread?

Yes, the version sold here in Italy is the C6833, which is one of the LTE versions.
When you use any of the mods, make sure you choose the ones marked "C6833" and not "C6802" or anything else.
Roms and ftfs for the international version work on the C6833 as well, but you'll lose the 4G (or LTE).
And if you want to save a lot of money, go on the glistockisti site, they sell it for 599 euros...
