Haha, I'd love to, but I don't know how =P

@ Rsalan, I wouldn't be able to make it exactly the same, since ICS seems to handle icons a little differently. Where in gingerbread there are two separate slots in the notification bar for signal type (4g/lte) and signal strength (the bars), in ICS, they actually overlap the two so that the bars appear in the lower right corner and the signal type appears in the upper left of the same slot. I can take both sets of icons, but when I put them in gingerbread, I haven't figured out how to overlap them (I think it's in smali coding, which is still quite a bit beyond me), so they just sit side-by-side, as they do in the pics above, which looks fine to me, but isn't exact ICS =P But yeah, besides that, I could probably prepare a set of icons that are ICSish. If I were to, which kind of battery percent icon do you think most people would like? I happen to think the thin circled one I made here looks a little slicker than the battery-shaped one, but to each his own =)

Hmm.. I like your new design more too, but it would probably be nice to add two different battery designs in your packages, including different color schemes like the ICS blue! =D

Btw I bricked my phone last night trying to copy and paste my original framework file.. Just got a replacement this morning lol.

I'm not sure if I just have a couple good batteries or what, but I always get between 15 and 28 hours per charge on the stock ROM, and I have wifi, 4g, etc on at all times. I don't make that many calls per day, maybe a couple ten minute ones, but I do a lot of web browsing and texting. Just weird, is all. Even messing with backing up in clockwork mod and reinstalling SystemUI and frameworks all day long, and I still get at least 13\14 hours at minimum

-Transparent notification bar
-Blue Skies live wallpaper
-ADW launcher but with launcher pro icons =P
-Beautiful widgets smaller home widget
-No carrier
-Removed padding near clock
-Modified my own ice cream sandwich-esque icons (except they're only white, no blue. I wanted neutral =))
-Made my own battery icon with battery percent mod[/QUOTE]

Do you think you could upload your framework-res.apk and systemui.apk? I adore what you got going on. Almost exactly as I wanted :D

Haha, sure, but there are tons of other changes I made to SystemUI and framework-res not shown in that pic that I don't know if you'd appreciate. I'll try to change those back this weekend and give you those files

Hey, hansmrtn!

Okay, I think I got rid of all the other modifications besides the ones you see in those pics (I got rid of carrier in lock pattern screen, got rid of dots so they're invisible, etc, but I figure you don't want those, just the mods in the pics, so HOPEFULLY, I got everything else back to stock, but no guarantees! I might have missed something =) ).

So if you really want everything (and you're on a stock rom! I wouldn't try this on a cooked one), just use the attached SystemUI.apk and framework-res.apk (with changed permissions, etc, blah blah blah, but I'm sure you knew that). Otherwise, you can always just pull out the icons and use whatever you want! =)

Note: If you want the transparency in the notification bar to work, you need to not only use my SystemUI.apk, but you also have to delete SystemUI.odex from your phone. I had to deodex SystemUI.apk to get transparency, but I didn't deodex any other apks, and my phone runs fine, so I guess that works okay =) And as always, typical clear notification bar restrictions apply as they do for all roms in gingerbread (only transparent if you use a live wallpaper or the stock launcher or use ADW with wallpaper hack, then you can have static papers that provide a transparent notification bar)

On an unrelated note, I just made a WHOLE new set of stencil-ish icons since I really like thin and minimalist. Was a massive pain in the ass to draw them all, but I'm finally happy with it! =)

Stencil lockscreen:

Homescreen:

Customization

My icons! =)
Deodexed SystemUI.apk for transparent notification bar (it's dark, so it doesn't look that transparent there, but it is, trust me =) )
Blue Skies live wallpaper
No carrier mod (xml)
No clock (xml)
Beautiful weather widget (smaller home)
99% battery mod
ADW launcher with launcherpro icons =)
Minimalist lockscreen (removed dots from lock pattern/emergency button/carrier/minimized divider)

Hey itiskonrad,

Screenshots look great! I'm trying to put this on my LG Optimus LTE (same hardware as Nitro, but on Bell software) but SystemUI keeps crashing after I overwrite the file (already with correct permissions, etc).

I guess the Nitro files don't work on my P930?

Hmm, probably not. But if you tell me which parts in particular you want, I could probably walk you through getting them on individually instead of using the whole systemUI, or if you give me your systemUI, I could try to put them on. Might be a little more work, but probably doable =)

I'M SO HAPPY!
I've been wanting to change the lockscreen clock font for AGES, but it's really hard on this phone! Normally, there's just a font you need to switch (/system/fonts/Clockopia.ttf) which android uses as the font for the clock, but in THIS case, they coded the framework.jar to use the system font for everything including the lockscreen! So one option is to swap out the droidsans font in your phone for something else which would change all the fonts system wide, but there are all sorts of issues (spacing, ellipses) that can cause problems everywhere else and I really just wanted the lockscreen font changed. So I deodexed framework.jar, figured out how to edit a couple smalis, detached the font of the lockscreen from the system and directed it to clockopia. For a noob like me it was REALLY hard! So now I can change my lockscreen font by just swapping out clockopia.ttf, like you can on normal android roms! I know this is unnecessarily lengthy, but I'm just so happy I got it to work I had to share =)

I really like your stencil theme. Would you mind sharing the files?

Just figured out how to mess with lock-pattern smali settings to change the lines (color and alpha) connecting the dots =)

Changed lines to (you guessed it) transparent! =)
