Hey guys! I have a few HP T5630w thin clients. I am looking for a version of x86 Android that will function on this system. Below are the specs. Can someone tell me if Android even supports the hardware?
CPU: VIA Eden 1GHz
Chipset: VIA VX800 north/south bridge unified chip
HDD: 2GB Flash
RAM: 1GB / 64MB dedicated to Graphics
Graphics: VIA Chrome9 HC3 DX9
Video: VGA-type video output (DB-15) & DVI-D digital video output
I/O ports and connectors: 6 USB 2.0 ports , 1 Serial, 1 Parallel, 2 PS/2, RJ45
Will be using Wi-Fi usb card.
well Kaptinkrunk, so far, i tried a LOT of versions. None of which would detect the Via processor unfortunately.
I took the cooler off of the processor. I found more details on the processor. With more searching, I found a post that mentioned placing a generic Via patch in the build. Hmmm. I found this to be interesting. BUT, I have no idea how to do that. I am still very Green when it comes to messin with Android.
Do you get a hold of the latest nightly build x86 ? because there are a lot of apps not able to work correctly with the 2013/07/25 build.Same here I found a couple hals ass tuts so I remade em lol I have no idea how to do much in x86

It has been 3 months , which I though a new nightly build beta/rc would run better on apps.I'm not sure man, I could try to get back on it, I haven't been keeping up with it

I wanted to test on video apps whether it works on arm7 for processing in x86.
Do you still have it install on your pc/usb drive ? which build you are using ? with a working wifi ?
Hey frnds,I hav installed this android x86 on my pc in VirtualBox...

I have istalled two apps till now bbm and subway surfers on 4.3 android iso..
I installed android x86 and it works fine but when I installed linux mint android x86 disapear !
and when I install android x86, linux mint disapear because I think it's not the same Grub ?
Do you know how to have dualboot android x86 and linux (mint or others) ?
thanks
If you want win 7 Mint and Android then follow this
partition drive in advance
1st 50 gigs for Win7 or whatever you want
10gigs Fat32 for Storage so you can share files between the OS's
20 gigs for Mint
10 gigs for Android
after you install Win7 then install Mint
after you install Mint then install Android x86 BUT do NOT pic the bootloader option in Android
After you install reboot and get back into Mint
Now google how to add Android x86 to Grub 2 menu - you have to manually edit the Mint Grub 2 boot loader and add the Android location (it's easy)
You will find the post where this guy has it all listed out just copy and paste into the grub custom file just change the location of the hard drive that android is on. I can't find the bookmark...I looked for you.
You will find when you google.
