• Q: How come there are no addons or themes available in Synergy Updater?
  A: You first must configure an Addon/Theme server. Do this by going to: menu | configuration | Addon/Theme Update Settings | Manage Addon/Theme Servers | Menu | Update Featured Addon/Theme Servers" Then check for Addons and themes and there should be a list presented.

• Q: Why is my battery draining like crazy?
  A: You need to allow your battery to calibrate. This usually involves charging your battery a couple times. Give it a couple cycles and it should be better. Maybe try wiping battery stats after a full bump charge.

• Q: When I apply an update through Synergy Updater, recovery doesn't apply the update and I get a screen with an exclamation mark
  A: Clockwork Recovery isnt compatible with the updater app. You wll need to install the updates manually through recovery. Files will be located in /sdcard/download

• Q: I am looking for a particular file that I am sure has been posted before in this thread. How can I easily find it in this huge thread?

Symptoms: Phone will no longer make a 3G data connection. Will not maintain a stable 1xRTT data connection. "Mobile Network" in quick settings may stay in a perpetual state of "Turning On..."
Problem persists through wipe/reload, wipe/restore (of backup), wipe/load of different ROM, radio change.

Cause: Restart of Synergy while in Airplane mode. Cause or initiation of restart doesn't seem to matter. Freeze/Battery pull, normal menu restart, hibernation wake.

Repair steps: All steps in this thread will get 3G back.
The key appears to be returning the phone to its initial, unrooted, out-of-box state. Activating the phone (*228 Option 1) causes programming to occur that happens outside of the ROM space (I think! I'm NOT a developer!!) that restores something that seems to have been somehow corrupted.

Several questions:
1) Is there a way to get the activation programming without having to wipe/RUU/unroot/reset/activate/reroot?
2) Is the issue likely caused by something in this ROM, any gingerbread ROM, or anything with the EVO framework? (This never happened in Warm Z 2.2)
3) Does Airplane Mode do the same thing code-wise as turning off the radio from the *#*#4636#*#* testing menu? I'm going to try doing that, as it seems to achieve the same purpose (and even seems to let me enable bluetooth) but doesn't cause the my lockscreen to show Airplane Mode, and doesn't cause the airplane symbol to appear in the notification bar. Instead, it just has the no-signal bars and shows -120 dBm in the Testing menu and Signal Strength 0 in the Settings>About Phone>Network screen.
