I like the Sony SCR56. Can't find it available anywhere yet. Seems Sony never has accessories available at release.

it's available in some countries, at least in hong kong it was available on the first day.
with the preorder of the XP we also get the OEM SBC 30 case (non flip case) for free.

it was a shop purchase, so there is no online link, but you can also check sony Hong Kong for the details, but they don't send out of hong kong.

it was a Sony Hong Kong promotion with free case, extra 12 months warranty (total 24 months), screen protector, QC 2.0 charger, Sony mobile umbrella and a 32 micro sd card.

Thanks but I want the SCR56 because you can use the phone with the cover closed. I still can't find it for sale anywhere and I've had the phone for three weeks.

There isn't, except at Sony Japan. Anxiously awaiting other vendors availability. I have seen some pre-orders but ship date listed is August 4. Would like to obtain one faster than that.

Yes, I found that out when trying to order one. Hopefully more readily available soon in other markets. Usually find a listing on eBay by now but there are none there either.

I know its available in hong kong from certain places, including sony center for those who has preordered before june 16th, apparently mine non flip sony case is still limited in stock.

I have asked a friend to see if he can get me the src 56 from where he works.

I got it locally, not online, I will post a review later on, inital testing, it's not worth it, nothing special, go for a unbranded one, or a third party one when available.

I bought this case off Amazon and it's pretty nice and sturdy. I usually buy cases from Spigen or Ringke though, but I didn't know that Ringke had made one until after I bought mine. Ringke case might be slightly better. I like clear cases cuz you don't have to hide the phone's premium looks if it's see-through.

Both cases are very well-designed to offer a ton of protection. I had a Ringke case on my Z3. Top-notch! See the older Z series Ringke cases reviews and you'll see they are highly-rated too!

Update: I just said screw it and bought the Ringke case. lol

Got my case from my local store. Mine's dual material case. Looks and feels sturdy, and it fits snugly. It covers the entire plastic border of the phone. The downside is, you can't apply tempered glass with this case on.

Paired with this screen protector. Feels rubbery, not plasticky. Idk whats it made of lol. Covers the curved area but it produces bubbles on the side. Not a biggie.

The case costs roughly PHP 650 (USD 14). Am looking for the same case in their main site but I cant seem to find it. They offer bumper cases for the phone, though. Asked my local store and they do overseas shipping

Just got my SBC 30, it was free when I got my XP, but got delayed, here is some photo's whiles comparing it with my SCR 56, last photo, the SBC 30 is slightly thinner, more flexible and does not have a NFC, apart from those it's offers the same quality.

Hey Augie,

Yeah, what is with that? Same with their chargers too. Even this other XP case I was considering never showed up on any sites. Sony Mobile...........maker of world-class phones, but ran by world-class idiots. LOL

Ended up upgrading to that Ringke case. A lil better than the Terrapin one I linked earlier.
