Wow... I loved that phone, it was so cool. Back in the day, I wanted to replace it so I put it in a lake while I went fishing. Took it into the Cingular store the next day, told them I dropped it in water since it was insured, they turned it on and it worked perfectly. Try doing that with your Android!!:eek:

I'm loving this ROM by the way. I get massive battery performance and the incorporation of the Collective Tools with all the cools scripts and features is a solid draw. Makes tweaking the phone so easy and reliable. Great job to flappjaxx and all those who work on it.

I am having the issue with the download link still. It is trying to download the file but keeps failing and restarting before any progress is made.

First off great ROM! I've been using it for a week or so and no real major issues. I have noticed it reboot for no apparent reason but this may be the over/under clocking. I've also noticed that my Ford SYNC won't auto connect to it for some reason over bluetooth. But everything else seem to work great. I look forward to your further releases. Keep up the good work.

I'm sticking with ROM. Loving it. Is anyone else have problems with the words getting scrambled after a little bit of use? A reboot fixes it but it happens often.

What words are getting scrambled? Are you undervolting or overclocking? Btw please don't forget that there's a Q& A thread listed in the OP.

This is a known issue with ICS roms. Which launcher are you using? If its something other than stock try restarting the launcher. Regardless of launcher try clearing the launcher cache under manage apps.

Had this issue a LOT with the stock launcher and rebooting all the time is not a viable solution to me, so I played with it a bit and found the Trebuchet launcher to have this issue the least (only happened once and I needed to reboot anyway and been good since then).

I got this for the first time today with ADW Launcher Ex. I just restarted it and it fixes itself. For me it's worth the price of admission for ICS. If it's too bothersome for someone (not necessarily you Talderon) , they should go back to 3.7 which is what I call perfect. I just wanted to remind everyone that this is still an Alpha. Thanks and as Mr Jaxxx says... Enjoy the ride!

This has been covered several times but since no one is interested in reading for themselves let me cover it yet again.
In Menu> System settings> Developer options> Scroll all the way down until you see Kill App Back Button and check it in.
Now any time your words get scrambled just hold down the back button and it will kill and restart the launcher without having to reboot. I'm sorry if this inconveniences anyone but I will reiterate that you cannot expect Release quality software out of an Alpha Quality Rom.

Let me say it again in case you missed it:

    How To:
    1. Back Up your Stuff.
    2. Wipe Data/ Factory Reset
    3. Wipe Cache and Dalvik Cache
    4. Flash .zip in recovery
    5. Allow full first boot, reboot
    6. Sign in to Market to add account.
    7. Open Collective Tools from Settings Menu and make it your own.
    8. Rate the thread and hit some "Thanks" buttons!

    Custom OC Profiles & Undervolt Settings:
    Sloth - Sleep = conservative 122/122 + Wake = ondemand 122/921
    flappjaxxx - Sleep = conservative 122/122 + Wake = ondemand 122/1152
    rasroy - Sleep = conservative 122/384 + Wake = ondemand 122/1382
    Nun - Sleep = conservative 230/384 + Wake = ondemand 230/1228
    Lone Star - Sleep = conservative 122/122 + Wake = interactive 230/1305

    In the CPU Tab hit your Menu button and you will see CPU Tweak.
    CPU Tweak is exactly that, it will allow you to fully customize your Sleep and Wake Governors and Clock Speeds.
    *Warning* Do be careful with this as using incorrect settings may have ill effects.
    Do not use these setting unless you know what you are doing.

    Undervolting:
    Lite Undervolt = -25mV
    Standard Undervolt = -50mV
    Aggressive Undervolt = -75mV

    Threads are no open again which me Ascension will continue on!
    A few guidelines I expect everyone to follow to make sure we continue on.

    1. Don't demand support for this alpha quality rom. Don't get offended if someone tells you to search for a solution.

    2. Read the first and second posts completely.

    3. Do not be ugly or rude in my threads. I am serious about this. I will close them down again the minute people stop being nice.

    4. I don't care what feature is in what rom. I add features as I see fit or as I learn how to implement them. Don't start feature requesting the minute a release drops. I have a life outside of XDA and Android and ICS. If I drop a release that means I just got done spending many many hours working on it. Keep that in mind.

I just dropped this yesterday and no one seems to understand that this is ALPHA QUALITY! If you aren't going to help me support it with constructive comments, then just keep the crappy comments to yourselves. Being ALPHA quality it is GUARANTEED to have bugs! Read the FIRST POST and when you are done READ IT AGAIN! Do not ask ETAs on the next release. Do not Ask for CM features. Don't bug me when you flash a different kernel and it breaks things. AND DO NOT FLAME IN MY THREAD! If you feel the need to flame someone else just go away. Your crappy comments are not welcome here. Help me out if you want, but keep your crappy comments to yourselves.
