CM10 UNOFFICIAL (BETA) for Droid Razr HD (XT926) - Consumer and Developer Edition

Well I have been working since release pretty much on getting this to a semi functional state....So here it is CM10 (4.1.2) for the Droid Razr HD. This will work on both the retail consumer edition with SafeStrap3 and on the developer edition with CWM or TWRP recovery.

Thanks as always to:
Hashcode for always answering my questions
DroidTh3ory for getting me into this
Epinter for helping me get the ball rolling and fixing wifi and other things
Google for the source and awesome android
CM for all the mods and code fixes

OK first things first:

SafeStrap Version 3 for Consumer edition can be found here: http://goo.im/devs/H...rap-3.05.17.apk

Follow the install and use instructions here: http://blog.hash-of-...w-to-safestrap/

Working features:
Data: Should come up in 4G now
Voice Calls: Both speaker phone and handset speaker now
SMS/MMS: You may get random texts from VZWNMN Google for instructions to disable this
WIFI: Working in SafeStrap now as well thanks to some init*rc magic
Wifi Hotspot: Working
Bluetooth: Appears to work fine tested with headset for calls
12-5 Fix SafeStrap boot

What doesn't work (that I know of):
Wifi direct, NFC, Camera

As always enjoy and have fun!

So using SafeStrap this would work on the Verizon version? Is that what's meant by "consumer"?

Awesome, I don't follow development too closely so is there an ETA on when the camera will be usable or when it'll be DD material? Thanks!

Awesome! Thanks dhacker!

Just ordered the Razr Maxx HD. Coming from the old skool Epic 4G, where the devs in that community (most particularly bbelos) have begun development of CM10.1. It's amazing watching the devs. continuously extend the life of a 2-1/2 year-old phone like the Epic 4G. It was hard to upgrade and leave that community because of its dedicated set of developers. But in the end, battery life was killing me and I need the maxx for work.

So it's great to see there are some sophisticated devs like you already working on CM10 for this phone.

Will JB update help fix issues with CM10?

I'm just wondering if the official JB update we (meaning XT926 - Verizon US users) are due for in the near future :)fingers-crossed: I believe we were promised this for before the end of the year) will have any implications or effects on the issues with this CM10 alpha build.

Will the official JB update help to resolve the issues with CM10 alpha for Razr HD/Razr Maxx HD?

I think the only way the JB update helps is if the developer is dependent on JB binaries to get the devices to work with 4.1.

No the binaries I'm using are from the leak already. I plan to update soon epinter had fixed Bluetooth and partially working camera

So the official JB release will have no bearing on the functionality of CM10 then?

-------------

Also, can people please report any changes they may have noticed in battery life. (possibly caused by wakelocks - a problem I was getting with CM10 on my HTC One V)

Only if the official OTA build contains binaries that fix issues that were in the leaked version - which I doubt.
