Lenovo a880 problem

Hey, good day. Im new here and im kinda blurred with things running around here but im learning as fast as i could. I have a question to ask. Recently i bought a new phone. The brand is A880 lenovo. This android hp is much more cheaper. And i found out that this hp has been rooted before(or as i assumed) coz it have SUPERSU inside. Am i right? And another things, it seems that when i want to restore factory setting, the phone didnt restored it as normal hp do. The button 'restore factory setting' seems like useless and when i try to update system, a screen messages will pop out and it says 'Unfortunately, setting has stopped'. Why is that? Thank you.
