And... Are we supposed to guess the error.
I guess, this post was only to inform us that he had an error. So we should thank for this information!And... Are we supposed to guess the error.

Suggestion: when you release a new build/version, please update versionCode (still at 37?), even if you keep the same versionName, so that the update is easily recognized programmatically (by Titanium Backup, for example), avoiding confusion.
The installer already works on Nougat. The framework doesn't and DVDandroid probably can't help that.DVDandroid wait xpossed installer for Nougat!

Okay, search for "Xposed for Nougat" and you'll find your answer.
In addition to that have a look at the official Xposed for N thread, they'll gladly help you out there.Okay, search for "Xposed for Nougat" and you'll find your answer.
You are trying WAYYYYY too hard to get nerd fanboysIt's funny when you think about it...
Imagine the possibility of what @DVDandroid was was probably thinking to himself before releasing the installer app.
It was probably along the lines of the same thing i was thinking after he released it...
"oh my... if i release this, i know that every impatient Framework Nougat Nut is going to be asking why it won't work on Nougat..."
It's just funny how so many individuals, who currently (or used to) use XPosed on their Marshmallow still doesn't get that XPosed itself is (in simple terms) in 2 parts. One is the Framework that is the engine that makes XPosed work and the second is the Installer app that is the vehicle that runs that engine.
It's kinda like installing the BusyBox or SuperSU app without installing any of the Binaries and individuals wondering why they're not working.
DVDandroid updated the Material Design Installer app, not the Framework which, if those who read the OP will see the 2 separate requirements.
I apologize but, this conversation is like Einsteins use of the Cosmological Constant that, originally, was used as a filler for one of his Theories of Relativity.

@DVDandroid I've got feedback. Can you add to your installer a notification on statusbar, about new module available (like info from PlayStore). I read about many problems with this option (server etc.), but tell me, please - is it possible via any way? Cheers.
rovo89 developed the original Xposed installer. DVDandroid then took his original installer and materialized it and added a ton of new features because rovo89 didn't have the time or just didn't want to work on the installer. Once rovo89 took notice of DVDandroid's materialized installer, he cherry-picked various features and theming and re-incorporated them back into the original Xposed installer. rovo89 credited DVDandroid with the work he had done, but they are not necessarily working together as a team in the traditional sense.
The two versions of the Xposed installer are developed by two different people and provide a different set of features. One is not necessarily better than the other, they are just different and intended for two different audiences.
If you really want the two apps to merge and become one, you really should be posting and talking to rovo89, because he is the only one that has the power to do that.
