DO NOT FLASH!

Here's some stuff from the Acer Liquid E/Acer Liquid 2.1/Stuffff. I want to Port it since it might be helpful, this phone looks raw! Google-it, Acer Liquid E. Here we go.

It doesn't boot because it doesn't have a G1 compatible boot image. If we get a good kernel for it (and optimize all the images to 320*480 and redo some xml files), it should work just fine. But I don't see the point since it's almost exactly like a nexus rom; No custom firmware like sense or blur or anything, just plain old vanilla 2.1. The only thing worthwile would be the apps I guess.

Well then can we make one? I think we should take... who evers Kernel you suggest lol. Probably Cyanogens Android 2.1 Kernel. Resizing sould do easy. I don't know how to edit XML's though.

I cant extract the bin file for somereason. Any particular software u guys use ?

I would just give it up. There are just too many differences form that phone to the G1 that its close to impossible. To begin, the screen has twice as many pixels as the G1, meaning every single image needs to be resized. It's running stock 2.1 with a couple extra apps/widgets. There is no point in wasting time on this when we already have an almost fully functioning 2.1 rom (cyanogen). The only thing that I see as worthwhile to try to port is nemoplayer, and we already have that just google the apk. If your stubborn though GL.
