Regardless what happens, thankyou so much for all of your help. I cannot thank you enough :)

You are very welcome, mate. I would really love to read it boots again.

Maybe trying to flash it with another firmware could solve it. I think Froyo JPQ or so was quite good for unbricking. Once when it boots, you will can upgrade without problems.

Hey again, I think my internal HDD might be corrupt.

I found a potential solution on this thread..

Can someone please elaborate on it, as I am a new to this and this is really confusing..

Thanks!

That thread is for i9000M.
IDK if anybody has created a modified kernel for the i9000 that boots from the external SD card. Even if yes, you should be aware that it is going to be a real PITA using it, with 10sec until half minute reaction time for any click. Even with the fastest external SD card, the speed of the device will no longer be available.

Try to ask developer Alberto96 to help you, has has recently developed for Samsung S8530/8500 which boots Android from the ext_SD. Alberto also knows i9000 at very best (he is developer of the Gear kernel)

    I had Cyanogen Mod 10.1.2, but one day, I took my phone out of my pocket and it had rebooted, but the screen was all full of lines..

    It would not boot after that. Just a bootloop..

    So, it just broke itself, but I had CM 10.1.2

    It could ba also a hardware issue.
    On your place, I would flash JVU or JVZ stock ROM.

    Regarding your previous post about the JVU or JVZ firmware, I was able to track down a JVU firmware.

    When all of the relevant files are put into ODIN, this is what is currently shown.

    Is it correct?

    It looks perfectly fine :) it is absolutely correct this way.
    Now when Odin is prepared exactly this way you should run your phone into the download mode and connect it with your PC via USB cable.

    Odin should short after that display TWO THINGS on the left side:
    * ID:COM port number
    * Message “Added!“

    Then you can hit "Start" and drink a coffee.
    On my PC flashing process takes about 2:30 minutes :)

    Yes. When it booted, it went into the Android System Recovery <3e>

    It says:

    -- Copying media files...
    E:check_point2: /sdcard/Samsung/ /Music is not directory
    E:check_point2: /sdcard/svox/ is not directory
    E:copy_dbdata_media:Can't unmount /dbdata
    Media files copy failed

    # MANUAL MODE #

    -- Applying Multi-CSC...
    Installing Multi-CSC
    Can't access to ' /system/csc/XSA/system/'.
    Successfully applied multi-CSC

    Try to flash only dbdata as PDA in Odin.
    You can find the file in my i9000 thread on the bottom of the first post as attachment

    It could be a hardware issue, I have written that in my first answer, I belive. I really don't know what to do now, the phone should actually boot now.
