Until we get the white font, this is my best effort
-zips are in order of pictures, zips 4&5 are not shown (_sq.zip)
_desire3;has "rounded" status bar
_blackbar_sq; has rectangle (no curves around clock)

ok here is one last one...kinda a joke
this is to shut up all the sprint guys about their 4g (although it really isn't available anywhere worthwhile anyways)
However, I do feel sorry for all the sprint guys. Sprint has had the WORST phone selection from day one. They didn't have any bluetooth capable phones until 2004, even Cricket had them covered until the evo came out.

^ +1 on the square clock background suggestion. Well, maybe more like rectangular. But it looks really good! Flashed it already. =)

has someone the original status bar just to have a chance to revert this?

edit: looks nice.. the downside is only that i can not read any status messages now :) (new mail.. sms preview text)..

Is there a way to remove the clock completely? i have a big widget for this so i do not need the clock there..?

Launcher Pro removes the entire notification bar for you if you like. When you press Menu it brings it down for you to see your messages or time 3g status etc. Pretty neat.

because when i install it it's only black, not the colors like on the desire where the color is a little bit changing? ;)

This topic is great and now I can use froyo:). The clock was the only thing we can't change until we get source code. How again do we change the notification icon colorsin froyo?

This is a very nice trade off to use in the mean time.
