So after a few days of running this ROM, I just have to say thank you! It is running very well. I have not had any stability issues or battery life issues. I have only found one slight problem, and it is that the buttons on my samsung headphones and others do not work. Is anyone else experiencing this?
Been talked about. Known issue and being looked into.

Those are pretty general questions dealing with Rom flashing itself. I'd just start a thread and wait for an answer.
I can tell you that you still need to Odin if you're going back to a tw Rom

And from my experience twrp works better than cwm imo.

Thx

1. Yes this is due to the new folder structure look at my post a few pages back for more info.

2. If you use the latest twrp this will only happen once coming to 4.2 but the cwm backups will not be compatible

3. To get your backups back and stay with cwm just flash any tw rom. Then copy all contents of the root of the sd card to the 0 folder. Then flash back to this rom and all your backups and other files will be available.

Very informative I really appreciate the response. I'm not sure what you meant by "this will only happen once coming to 4.2" but that pretty much answered all my questions :D

What I meant was that the creation of the zero folder and the restructuring is inevitable with 4.2 but with the latest twrp it will only do this one time we used to have an issue where it kept happening every time you flash a new rom you got a new zero folder. Glad I could help but anything further you can contact me via pm and I'll help or go over to the q and a so we aren't running up mikes development thread here.

Edit..... You can always press the thanks button as well

I just did a full wipe and install the rom. I can't run voice Google Search/Voice Search(it crashes right away). How can I fix it? I can't install it because it is already installed (in Google play store).

Thanks for your hard work!

For some reason, my Titanium Backup can't access my external card for backups. How can I fix this?

Please direct inquires that end with a ? To the q and a thread...... No one else has had an issue with voice search. And for the backups see the last few pages of this thread for my posts addressing the file structure of 4.2

Thanks for your help. I also fixed the backup problem. I have to direct it again to the folder. I guess something changed.

I have another question. I just came to this rom (from Frosty Rom). I can't seem to restore my message back up from TB. Is it because the messaging system been changed?

Any help will be appreciated!

Not 100% sure but I am almost certain that it is because of the change in messaging apps at least that would make the most sense to me

1. Restore your Frost Back-up
2. Install this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.riteshsahu.SMSBackupRestore
3. Back up your text messages
4. Flash this rom
5. Restore your text messages
6. Profit $$$$$$$$

For those of you with issues regarding the file structure of 4.2 and where the files are and not being able to find back ups I have decided to create a thread referring the topic. Please feel free to continue the convo there so we aren't running up the development thread.

itsmikeramsey, do you think it will be possible to add whatever it was in Liquidsmooth 4.2.1 to 4.2.2 that allowed for USB-DAC functionality?

JackNorris has been instrumental in getting this working via his patch, which worked on the 4.2.1 but not 4.2.2:
http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2029728

I've got $50 to the first dev willing to get it working in their 4.2.2 ROM!:good:

Some of you guys may not sleep, BUT I actually do. I actually have a personal life outside of all this! Now I see why DJIntrigue808 stopped developing. There's some truly ungrateful people around here lol. Does it mean I'm stopping... nah but it's really opened my eyes to the fact people will take advantage of your kindness and throw it back in your face...

Check this: MOST development threads don't want people flooding posts as it makes ti hard for users who ACTUALLY search to find solutions to there questions... Guess what, we casually talk here

MOST development threads the devs don't say a damn thing, they just release and call it a day... Guess what... I try to keep everyone up-to-date on what the hell is going on...

I'm starting to get the idea of why MOST development threads ARE the way they are...

So what does it mean? Nothing for now, but if some of you guys keep acting like spoiled ass kids, I'll lock this thread and force you to check things like facebook, twitter, etc... I'll cut the friendly convo, I'll stop trying to keep you guys up-to-date.

Hell I may continue to be nice and friendly to those that care and just a straight up asshole to those that don't. All I know is I'm not feeling the way things are going with these people coming in demanding **** like they paid for it, OR own it. Ask anyone who's donated... they got a beta build, test build what have you... those that don't, I'm not saying you need to because it doesn't matter, BUT sit back and shut up!!! :D

If you can't.... the repo link is right above find out what it does and where it goes and good frikkin luck!!!

On a lighter note... those that are patient... you'll be waiting no more after today. We had some technical issues that happened late... (Most of TeamLiquid is EST) so yeah... I stand on this word... Release is today guys
    29
See... for you guys holding out this long and being patient... you'll be getting builds based on 4.2.2 :D. I feel that's better than getting a 4.2.1 build and waiting til later b4 getting a 4.2.2 build. PLUS you get more fixes :)
