When we do an update you should get a notification, but we haven't done one in a few weeks now. Do you have version 6.2.1 of the TBO Updater installed?

I had to reinstall the app recently, and now not getting notifications. I am using 6.2.1. I used to get notifications every time. Now I don't, like when textra update was posted the other night. Is there some setting that I need to check?

There is no setting that you need to turn on to get notifications. Our Updater works on Google's Firebase system, so if you disable something Google based then you may not get them. Did you restore anything after doing a clean flash or something? I never restore anything, I always download the Updater and install it properly and I always get the notifications.

It's something that Google screwed up in play services... I didn't get any messages on android 7.1.1, but on the device I run 6.0.1 I still get notifications

Good stuff!

And btw, I found the chat "View all replies" text color: it was the "colorPrimaryAlternate" in the "Base.Theme.Youtube.Light" style.

And oh! is it a YT Rred thing or am I mistaken thinking that the bar with the Home, Trending, Subscription,... icons should be on top? I'm asking becsuse I once saw that happening and it was a wrong parent style. It made me wonder and I just had a quick look again, but can't seem to pinpoint which one it was. Anyhow, I'm sure you'll figure it out fast enough...

Cheers

Nope, apparently it's a server side push for this new style. Nobody on the team has it except for me so far, but I know the bar with the different "tabs" is that "app pivot bar" layout. The icons are tinted by unused colors....youTube_red is the selected color, and secondary_dark is the unselected color

@Train88: would you have an idea on what defines the usual (I believe) YT secondary horizontal progress bar; the 'bufferred' part? I've looked a couple times and couldn't quite figure it out. I'd like to reduce its alpha a bit to increase the contrast with the primary progress (played track) to make it more obvious without having to touch the screen and see the scrubber.

They moved it back to colors? Or am i thinking of the progress bar in full view?

The stupid leading the dumb.
Main progress (red in stock YouTube) is in smali. The progress has two other elements to it. There's the loading one with very transparent white color, then the buffer bar which I found that's using ccffffff in colors. I'm still hunting for where the "loading" color is defined

Hehehe. Well, I'll probably won't choose purple, but yes. Thanks a bunch one more thing to cross off the visual buggers list.
Just wait till you get the new UI Lol...I don't have it on my new 6P. I had it on my N6 still running DU on 6.0.1, so no clue how the server side push is working tbh...

It's not simply the "inline_time_bar_progress_color">#33ffffff?
I haven't tried it yet, but looks pretty transparent to me...

??? you don't need Aroma for anything other than half of the Theme Ready zips. But you could always just download the normal zips?

Hang on... OnePlus 3T can't flash Aroma??? Well I'm defs not getting one now!!! Angler ftw ???

Team Black Out is a team of both veteran app "Inverters" and new-comers that want to learn. With over A lot of popular Blacked Out and Transparent Android apps in our list, we are sure to not only amaze you but to guarantee once you use our Themed Apps you'll Black Out for a while.. The Team isn't doing ROMS though. We are simply combining the great minds of some of the Best in the Business when it comes to making apps Blacked Out or Transparent. We have only a few team members now because some are planning on being lightly active, so if you're already into doing Blacked Out apps, hit us up if you wanna join. We don't want to train people from the ground up but you don't have to be the best either. We will are hosting guides on this site to help walk people through the process of Inverted Apps...

    T-BOTS.png

T-BOTs are the Team Black Out Testers. When we update an app or start a new one from scratch, we can put anywhere from 20 minutes to 10 hours into 1 app for all of you and then testing that app can take 10-60 minutes and we don't use every app we Black Out so we're bound to miss some hidden things. Well, this is where our Loyal T-BOTs come into play. Once we update an app they get busy looking for issues for us. This gives us more time to be able to update more apps, start new apps or just have some non-android fun. So make sure you thank the T-BOTs when you get blown away from how amazing these apps are!

Obviously this style is the most popular. We don't theme our apps with images but rather Invert the Colors so you'll have Dark backgrounds and Light texts. This is very popular and has become something that many avid Android users have come to thoroughly enjoy so we will do our best to give you more of what you love!

    Transparent.png

Transparent apps have become more popular the last year or so and some members of the Team have been offering them for a while now. Our transparent series of apps are called Clear Apps. Being able to see your wallpaper while you're using your favorite apps is just cool! We'll be offering our own wallpapers soon for you to use!

Ok kids... click on "Welcome to the Dark Side" at the top and it will take you to our official Team Black Out website! All downloads are hosted there only to keep track of everything. If you've used any of our apps in the past in your Aroma installers or in your ROM, you can still use them. Link back to our SITE wherever you post our content tho. Do not post something in a different forum using our work and then PM us to let us know and hope it's ok with us.... It isn't. Ask first and we'll work with you but ask for forgiveness and we have a problem.

    Thanks
