[ROM][1/25/13] - Stock Root De-Odex - JOP40D - 4.2.1 - Version 2

From what I have seen so far there is not a lot of "mods" that are even out for Nexus 10 anyhow right?

Like CM 10.1 does not seem to have much mods for Nexus 10 that I can see.

Could anyone mention some of the mods that other ROMs have that "might" be worth having?

Something tells me there is no worthwhile mods on other ROMs and this is the best choice with the speed boost added to it with the init.d and zip-align and De-Odexed.

This is just a stock ROM.

Once I get time this weekend to work on it... I will be making mods, etc... Not a lot... Not sure what you really want for mods though?

But yeah, this good for adding init.d speed tweaks, no doubt!

And you can also debloat it before install pretty easy too!

Exactly!

I was thinking wiht the higher res it would be laggier! But this thing is great.

I cant wait to get the time to tear into it like I did with the TF700

Only lag I found was with the stock keyboard. Switched to Swype and that is gone.

How often is everyone experiencing lockups with this rom? I'm on another rom (craigs) and my nexus is freezing maybe once every couple of days. I have to soft reset it to fix it.

As much issues as you would find on the stock ROM.

This is pure stock with root.

2 Mods i would love to see are simply, display battery percentage next to the battery and been able to move the 3 bottom center navigation buttons to either side.
another but i imagine is a lot trickier and maybe not for your rom is samsung multiview

Looking forward to your CleanRom. Currently running on all my devices except on this one. For mods I would like a dismount button on the notification area or quick settings panel to unmount storage devices. Like the SGS3 with click here to unmount USB storage. Thanks for all you do.

May have an answer for moving the nav buttons to the left. In craiggomez's thread there is a flashable mod that moves the nav buttons to the left. Check it out. No disrespect to Scott. His ROMs are always solid.

Hey guys, dont forget, I gave this ROM out to anyone to use as a base ROM as long as you follow the simple rule of giving me credit in your OP of the ROM thread.Just wanted to remind everyone that is all that is required to use any stock base I put up.

However you may NOT use my CleanROM base as a base ROM.

Hey scrosler do you think it will be possible to make a rooted stock 4.2 ROM. The original rom the nexus 10 shipped with. If not don't worry about it. Thanks. Its just for testing something not to use normally.
