Electrifying
This recovery works fine & successfully flashed cm11 nightly of 13-Sept-2014. Rom is laggy(for me) & I can't think of installing gapps which will make it even slower.

Can you describe what happens when you tried to boot? For example, did the LCD panel show anything strange (colours, a fading image) after the Samsung logo?

After first rebooting to ROM the Samsung logo shows but the second logo (the logo of the brand name like we had in other kernels) didn't come and it goes straight forward to cyanogen boot animation (after 3 or 4 seconds delay) and every thing seems normal ... but unfortunately it stuck on that!:confused:
And I didn't see any strange colours or fading image

OK, so the kernel technically did boot. Try the new build that's finished building, and don't forget that you need to do a data-wipe.

The logs taken from recovery don't help much, because they're only showing information from the recovery kernel. If the boot is stuck during boot of Android, you can extract logs using ADB from your PC.

Hi! thanks for working on kernel 3.0 for our device. we're all greatfuul for that.
I've installed #1148:
http://jenkins.androidarmv6.org/job/cm-experimental/1148/

kernel booted but i stucked at the cyanogenmod animation. i attached logcat and dmesg. i didn't have any access to my Sdcard in adb shell!(it was empty) so i used /data/ to extract logcat and dmesg and i pulled it via "adb pul ..." :D

Your dmesg was useful - I can see that all of the drivers are working correctly for beni on the new kernel.

The boot failure appears to be unrelated to the kernel; some needed code from upstream hadn't been merged into our project at the time of the build. I suspect that the missing code has since been merged, so I've triggered a new build (#1151) that should hopefully boot properly.

build #1151 boots ! everything seems to work . Touch, camera , audio , WIFI , Blutooth,Sdcard , Sensors,... . :victory:
overall performance is good. Camrecorder works with this patch(it's not a kernel related issue):

i attached logcat and dmesg. i'll test battery consumption and deep sleep today.
Thankssss :fingers-crossed:

Thanks, that's exactly what I need tested for all of the builds at this stage. I'd also ask you to check the behaviour of the SD card and/or USB transfer speed. I've gotten a report that file transfers are slower than before. In my testing of the kernel last year, I noticed some micro-stutters during audio playback that was happening when the phone was idle. This audio issue I experienced was likely related to the MMC driver potentially misbehaving, but in the case of the file transfer speed issue, it's equally possible to be the MMC or USB drivers at fault. It'd be great if you could keep an eye on these aspects of the ROM.

BTW, I wasn't aware that beni had the video recorder FC issue. I've applied @Mm7's patch (that was applied to the cooper device recently). Future beni builds will include his fix.

    androidarmv6.org has been shutdown and the projects have been abondoned
    CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.4 (KitKat), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

    Code:
    #include <std_disclaimer.h>
    /*
     * Your warranty is now void.
     *
     * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
     * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
     * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
     * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
     * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
     */

    CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

    This Support of the CyanogenMod is Unofficial and the sources are up at Androidarmv6
