How to get to diagnostic mode - so I can connect with DFS or QPST

Hi guys, I have a ATT I747.

I want to connect it to my computer to do an EFS backup through DFS or QPST. How to I change to RM+DMNET+MODEM, when I dial *#7284# I can't change the modem.

ps anyone know how to get the SPC/MSL, I dl the utility, it didn't work.
