Tried this and didn't workI think its a radio thing. I've read in the vodafone thread that there is a cm7 radio version that works... Any chance of that one coming in this rom?

addition: i've just gone over that vodafone topic again and they state that its a 'RIL' issue, i hope this means something to the developers?
In RC 1 - yes. No WiFi. After that I put RC 2 on it (on RC 1) without wipe. Still no WiFi.
Try a full wipe, then install RC2 and before you boot the phone for the first time, flash the boot.img from the RS2 zip. You should have WiFi now.
Everytime you flash a new beta or RC, you have to flash the new boot.img, if you don't the WiFi won't work.

Agreed. Without doing a full wipe often cause problems.

Just remember you have to reflash the boot.img everytime a new beta/RC is released, otherwise, the ROM will still boot but WiFi won't work.

I will, no problem.
I can't explain why, I just noticed that everytime I forgot to flash the boot.img from the new release, WiFi wasn't working anymore.
The reason is quite simple boot.img contains the kernel but the wifi kernel module (in Windows words, it's the driver) is inside the ROM. The kernel module must match the kernel so it can be loaded. S-ON device boot and recovery partitions can't be flashed in recovery mode so they're still the old ones after you install the zip. Thus the kernel is the old one and the modules are from the ROM. Therefore they can't be loaded -> no WIFI.

Yeah. Every hboot 1.16/2.00 users who unlocked their bootloaders and wanted to flash custom roms must follow the process or problems will happen.

The backlight error is pretty simple (assuming this hasn't been found yet), the array in config.xml has been misnamed. Should be config_autoBrightnessButtonBacklightValues.
Let me know if you'd like my code for softkey rotation. I'll try and submit it to CM when I get a chance but it might not be for a while.
