Just hold down the volume button till it vibrates. Then it won't make the beeping noise. Or use the toggle to put it on vibrate.

Oh my, so many options... I think I'm going back to stock... or may get an iPhone...
Cleared Google Play Store app data and updated the Play Store, but I'm still getting an error when trying to update Google Search. I'm trying to update Google Search because I keep experiencing force closes when trying to use the voice search function of Google Now. Is this the result of a bad flash, or is there another workaround? Someone else had this issue, but he said he dirty flashed. Clean install here. Thanks Guys!
Uninstall Google search, reboot, install fresh from the app store.
I was just messing around, but I'm just outside of jackson, kind of in the flowood, reservoir area...

Have we considered changing Rom Control > Sound > "Face down audio mode" to "vibrate mode" ? It works great and you get to lay your phone on the table to show the lookie-loos

Errr... Thought I knew how to uninstall Google Search. No option in manage apps, do I have to delete something in the system-->app directory?

If like me anybody has questions about what this color mod does, here is a photo. On the left is an S3 without it, on the right is an S3 on the latest kernel with color changes. These screens were identical before the update.
As you can see on the right the whites aren't yellow anymore. Personally I think this is a great thing, hated the yellow whites that this screen gave.
EDIT: If you do a curves adjustment in an image editor, the difference becomes clearer.

» Installation is simple:
- If coming from another ROM or another major AOKP version, wipe data (Factory reset) in recovery. Always do this before reporting any bugs.
- Make sure you're using the latest CWM or TWRP
- Flash ROM

- Reboot

1. Zip files that contain the animations are in /system/addon.d/keyboard-anim and /system/addon.d/window-anim
2. If you feel like you want to add more, simply open one up to see the folder structure and the files it contains.
3. To add another animation that you like, simply create a new zip file with the same files and folders and place in the appropriate folder. The files must be compiled xml files and not the human readable version.
