samsung released ICS open souce for galaxy chat b5330 , i think we can use it for our Y :) am not sure about it ,

Well nothing on the cpu..can't get any info regarding the device microprocessor details :(

So what's soo intresting about it ?

It has got the same BCM21553 processor as our beloved Galaxy Y and most of its hardware is same except reduced screen size and dual sim capabilities.

I couldn't find much details about this phone as it is being sold in Russia apparently so i got review link showing the details and here are a few screenshots taken from the video embedded in the review confirming the processor and RAM details...

I hope this kernel will be useful for the Devs to build an ICS ROM for Galaxy Y which we've been waiting for long ....

I tried to share information which is true to the best of my knowledge, if anything is wrong please ignore this post.

can you (or someone else) confirm from kernel source (if you already download) if soc is BCM21553 ?
