Can I ask for a huge favor from someone. I just need this zimage put into a nbh. Doesn't matter the settings. I have ubuntu but since I don't have an internet connection to the machine I can't get all the dependecies satisfied. It would be much appreciated if someone can do this. Thanks
using your attached zImage with this nbhcreator results in a failed compile.
the nbhcreator uses very device specific code. mainly kaiser, polaris and vogue.
I am currently really busy moving to another state, but I will try later this evening to see if I can force it to compile. (...bypass the error checks)
however, even if I force it to compile, I am not sure it will work for your needs.(due to the device specific settings)
I am unfamiliar with the HD2 so if you could point me to your settings that you use I can see if I can create a version specific to your device.
What are the exact settings you need and I will try to get them for you
the settings I use are based off of this tinboot
http://androidhtc.git.sourceforge.net/git/gitweb-index.cgi
which builds for vogue, polaris, and kaiser.
is there a git repo setup for building android on hd2?
a quick search on the hd2 forums shows no sign of the hd2 running android from nand.
No it hasn't been done yet and I am working on it but the nbh is the first step. The git repo is here http://git.linuxtogo.org/?p=groups/mobile-linux/kernel.git;a=shortlog;h=refs/heads/htc-msm-2.6.32
Thanks

last thing, don't know if it's possible...could you make a .rpm package to use with fedora? (that's my os)
Great thanks.
Great thanks.
I still have a question : Now, I can select the zimage, but the output appears on desktop (not possible to select an output folder) and is named as the distribution chosen (eg Froyo) with no date stamp nor extention. (regardless of the option chosen). Is this normal ?
I don't have flashed my phone to test (don't want to risk a brick if I did something wrong).
