Clean / Pure ROM

Hi Christian,

Thank you. This is the best ROM I have used so far. And I must say it is very stable.

But I do have one comment / request. I was looking for a good stable "pure" wm6.5 ROM with the usual SonyEricsson stock applications and customizations (panels, applications etc).

I mean I want to have the option of being able to choose the applications or panels I need.

For example, I do not want the following applications or rather I might want to try the following and have the option to remove the ones I don't want.

Christian, I do not want to sound ungrateful, I love the ROM you have developed. It is the MOST stable one I have tried. But is it possible to create one with only WM6.5 plus SonyEricsson customizations (panels, applications etc)? Appreaciate it. Thank You.

the dialer i have on my xperia, is the one from windows mobile 6.5. Not the Sony Xperia one? i am using the latest build from christian (23053, clean version)

when i scroll the list, the list becomes all blury. This is a bug that al the windows mobile 6.5 versions i flashed, had.

2711 full

Hi, got the 2711 full running now, still the same problem with SPB Plus, it hangs when i try to ad a shortcut.Anybody knows a working alternative ?

Try the clean version. It's almost the way you want it. You can install everything you would like.

Yes this is a wm 6.5 bug, can't do much about it. sorry.

Yes it's not compatible with 6.5.1. Don't have a alternative for you sorry.

This isn't personal to anyone, but it seems like the quicker I respond to a question or error the more question I got that already have been answerd about 100 times. So please everyone search and read before you ask questions. It's kind of annoying for me.

If so, can i post the new masterpieces there, ofcourse mentioning you ?

There is a faq but there isn't much information in it at the moment. But it isn't that hard to just click the search the thread field.

About FTD I didn't really stopped. Just did not have the time to post but will do in the future if you want you can post the 2.711 please use the tag I created and link to this topic. Think I will post the next one again oke?

Uhm don't know think a small bug, since I remember someone else had this problem. But it was only there after restoring the sms messages. When just receiving them it was fine. Don't know what to do about it sorry.

Fantastic

After trying another ROM from this forum and having strange issues, I gave this one a go. (The latest clean build)
Wow - it's great.
The interface is faster, smoother and better layed out.
Also, I have noticed that my ringer volume is finally at a level I can hear it.
Thanks - keep up the great work!

Hey Christian,

Have used the ROM the last 2 days and it works good. Just a bit laggy when loading/exiting SMS but it's fine.

There are two very nice themes for WM 6.5 23053 here:

I use them and they look and work great.
If you like them, you might want to put them in your future roms aswell.

Hey Christian,

I absolutely love this rom, but there's one little thing that's bothering me.
I keep al my contacts saved on my Sim, because I tend to switch phones often..
However, with all other roms i was able to copy contacts from sim to phone and they'd show up in my contact list..
Unfortunately, after 2 days of fiddling around, I still havn't found a way to get them to show up in my contact list...while I'm able to text to them through the messaging app by simply typing in their names in the "adressed to" part.

Any way on solving this?

Thanks will look into those themes soon. Maybe I'm gonna include them in the next rom. Are the bottom buttons in the theme or do you have to change them manually.

Sim contacts doesn't show as default in this rom since I disabled it. You an unable it again yourself simply by going to xperiatweak and check the checkbox for it.

In case people want to know how to make the lists not so huge in explorer:

Change
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Today\ListView\ListViewSelectorThemeImageBottomPadding
and
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Today\ListView\ListViewSelectorThemeImageBottomPadding

from 24 to 10. (decimal)

Just had a freeze here when opening SMS.

Besides that the rom is great!

I only got a problem with the taskmanager, it sometimes doesn't open when I press in the upper right corner, bug?

For those with the SMS lag, are you using MS MyPhone? I've heard that can cause problems with Messaging and I've experienced it myself.

The buttons are included in the theme.
Top and bottom bars are transparent aswell. Try 'em out and see if you think they are good enough.

Anyone using T-MobileTV?

I`ve got a strange issue; Since i`m using WM6.5 i can`t use T-Mobile TV

This is very strange; when i return back to WM6.1 (R3AA) T-MobileTV does work.
When i go to (T-mobile NL customers only) t-mobile.nob.nl i can choose wich stream i want to use; then HTCStreaming media shows the .3gp-stream in WM6.1; in WM6.5 i get an error-message in HTCStreaming media.

I`ve tried to manage the .3gp-file association from HTCStreaming media to WMplayer in Advanced Configuaration tool 3.3 and saved/rebooted afterwards; the setting is correct but still the stream opens in HTCstreaming media

The strange this is, that other files (.asx etc.) streams well in WMplayer

Example of T-MobileTV: rtsp://t-mobile.nob.nl/tv/MTVMusic_high.3gp?pid=(personal number)
