I think it's only ICS, but btw VERY NICE! Dont like the name. Music, books and Movies are US Only?! Dont get those tabs for music, books and movies, i live in Latvia.
Works nice on CM9 galaxy s2 build!

I can confirm that it is not only ICS because I am running a gingerbread based ROM and my market actually updated to Play Store automatically.

Running Atrix 4G 2.3.7

worked for me

in order to get this to work you have to
1.) uninstall the market you have
2.) install to /system/app
3.) fix permissions
4.) reboot

hope that helps people trying to get this to work.

I need google play for my kyros mid 1125. I have market but the before ver. rooting. I dont know how install in my mid1125, can you help me?

My Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro (gingerbread 2.3.4) received the update and it's changed already..

The application icon name = "Google Play Store" version 3.4.7 changes the name "Android Market".

and inside it, the logo is "Google Play" not the "Play Store" eventhough the contents just the same as "Android Market" version, without "Play Music", "Play Book" and "Play Movie" as in page 1..

    I tried to download it but I think I have to root to install iit bc it installs correctly but then immediately closes... - does anyone have any suggestions?

    I tried installing it on a fresh install of Cyanogen Nighty htc desire bravo.
    When i try to open it, it always ask me to setup an acount.
    Whether i choose yes or no it kicks me out of play-store and back to home.
    Is there another way to set an account inside the phone?

    There is actually a newer version of the Play Store than this. It is 3.7.11 it was pulled from Jelly Bean and has been working fine on my Epic.
