Ok, I figured running it as admin would work, but it just closes its self out. So I opened CMD as admin and navigated to the runme file and did it and this is what I come up with, any better?

Out of space on Optus P1000

Hi All,

Kies just installed the OPTUS 2.3.3 update but rooting fails when copying busybox due to insufficient space. I modified the batch to remove Power_on.ogg and samsungani.qmg but still not enough space. Does anyone have recommendations about what can be safely removed from ROM?

Your toolkit seems to be working for Samsung Galaxy Mini (GT-S5570), Gingerbread 2.3.5, firmware version XWKS7.

My phone was rooted just fine I'm now testing it. Will report back with more info!

A million thanks to you!

Reporting back for Samsung Galaxy Mini GT-S5570 2.3.5 (XWKS7).

Phone was rooted just fine.
After updating Superuser's binary, the phone restarted (binary was updated succesfully). After that, programs using SU rights work fine.
After updating Adfree's database, the phone restarted (database was updated). After that, Adfree properly blocks banners.
File expert works fine while accessing root and mounting read/write.
SD-Booster changed cache size successfully (needs su permissions).

So, except the two abovementioned reloads, root permissions are working just fine and no reloads since then.

PS: Suggestion: Maybe add the word "Mini" to the "Samsung Galaxy GT-S5570" on your working phones list. It will make it easier for someone to recognize which phone that is!
Maybe like this: Samsung Galaxy Mini GT-S5570

Call me stupid but I do not have any clue what this means.

This is an official Google Nexus One running the official 2.3.6. It was never rooted and this is the first attempt to do so.

What does this mean?

Thanks in advance.

Ok, I had to repeat the complete procedure three times. With every repeated call of the Batch file the procedure went through a little bit more.

This Google Nexus One is rooted now. Thanks.

    Memory Crash Method

no problem... just detail out the process/steps i will link to it :)

So far tested for i9100G version

    Method 1 : DooMLoRD's Easy Rooting Toolkit
     Download the toolkit first
    (http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1321582)
     Replace the "runme.bat" with this edited "runme.bat" (http://db.tt/H28lkghK)
 Tick USB debugging (settings->Applications->Development), if unticked before
     Tick Unknown sources (settings->Applications)
 Using windows task manager, "end task" ADB.exe and all KIES related software if running
 Connect phone using provided cable, ADB driver for the phone will be installed automatically assuming you have installed KIES first
     Double click the "runme.bat"

    Memory Crash Method
If not succeed, please reboot it manually as it will not reboot automatically after the last unsuccessful script. Now add these extra steps :
 Same like above, do not run the script yet
 Now run applications from your phone, any applications will do, and close them with HOME button, not the BACK button
 Run as many applications as you can, check with "Task Manager", the RAM usages should be at least 500mb and above
     Now run the "runme.bat"
 Result : rooted (Superuser) only
