Does the Verizon Max have a stock File Manager? I have looked in my apps drawer, but can not find one, and now with the external SD card security restrictions that came with Kitkat, Es Filemanager will no longer delete files on the external SD card. I know I can plug the phone into my PC and delete them through windows explorer, but that is sometimes not convinent.

Thanks for that link. I looked at it in some earlier searching, but I am not rooted. I am completely stock. I would like to root, but have never done it on a phone before, only tablets. Do you have a link that can give some clear easy to understand instructions to root the Verizon One Max?

So, if I read that post right, if I want to run a custom rom like Flyhalf's Nusense. I will need to do the following:
1 Gain root with weaksauce
2 Gain S-Off: with firewater (http://firewater-soff.com/)
3 uninstall weaksauce
4 Use TWRP 2.7.0.0 to
a. Do a backup, Just in case....
b. Flash the custom recovery
Am I missing anything??
