Use samsung ultimate kernel cleaning script. flash the rom and then superuser file. then kernel script again. after that go to advanced and fix permission then it will work.

instead of using kernel script just factory reset clean dalvik and cache.

Maybe system really gets too full. I have installed all the zips, too. I'll check this.

I installed all three zip packages after doing full wipe (/data, /datadata, /cache and /system), and it's working just fine. However, I only have 84ko left in /system.

OK UPDATE

For people who have the boot lagging and going. I got it working (super smooth btw holy s***).

Wipe data, wipe cache, format system. Then install rom, install su. Fix permissions. Reboot. It will stop and go like before but this time it worked for me. I am able to receive sms and data. Will update further in a bit.

Thanks to everyone one who made this possible.

Ok same for me... after entering that type of "bootloop", I entered the recovery, wiped all again, flashed rom, fix perm, superuser and now it booted.... I'm now trying flashing gapps

Am I the only one getting android.process.media closed? Cannot set any notification sounds or ringtones. And play store closes cause of that too. I guess.

Hey guys,

For those of you who have successfully flashed it, how long did the first boot up take? The method I followed was wipe cache, wipe dalvik, wipe system, flash rom, gapps, su, fix permissions, and reboot. This booted into the devil recovery manager and so I rebooted again and now it's going through the CM boot up screen. This is coming from the SlimICS rom with the Semaphore kernel.

However, the boot up here seems to be taking a long time to get anywhere. How long should I wait before retrying and is their anything wrong with the process I went through? Also, the boot up seems to start and stop, if that helps.

By flashing the 3zip in one time you can't get it working.
Go back on the OP and check the instructions to flash it and avoid bootloop (DerTeufel1980 just added them).

Since official CM10 alpha got released today, I don't think, that there still is a need to update this rom. Going back to normal kernel business.

uploading V2 right now to http://devil.haxer.org/jellybean/ as well as to http://rootaxbox.no-ip.org/divers/jellybean/

because of my upload speed, this is going to take about 1 hours...

    changes:
    - rom slimmed down and gapps/su fix included (thx to bhu1)
    - replaced ear.apk with one supposed to work (user report)
    - replaced hw composer with the one from nexus s (this is the jb one, old release was using ics hw composer)
    - fixed recording of 720p (upstream fix to media_profiles.xml

    install instructions:
    - wipe (coming from previous version, you also can try flashing without wipe, and wipe only, if you are facing issues)
    - flash
    - fix permissions
    - reboot

    have to work now. cu

kernel 1.7.4 is online now :)

i'll try to summerize the changes quickly...have to sleep:

    - latest linux 3.0.46
    - latest changes from android kernel source
    - low mem killer changes from steve kondik (cyanogen)
    - updateted recovery to latest version
    - fixed charging issues
    - vibrator intensity changes from cm team
    - dynamical fsync by faux123:
The dynamic sync control interface uses Android kernel's unique early
    suspend / lat resume interface.

While screen is on, file sync is disabled
when screen is off, a file sync is called to flush all outstanding writes
and restore file sync operation as normal.

Had to clean my build folder. Wifi working now, after clean rebuild. I am trying to fix the other small issues, and upload the fixed version tomorrow morning... Compiling clean is taking many hours on my old computer...
