As CM10.1 has hit the general release, Avatar Team is branching with stable and nightly releases.

Stable releases are marked as 3.0. This is the first stable release from Avatar Team. Stable releases will be weekly or bi-weekly and will be tested extensively by our testing team.

Nightly releases will kickstart in a few days. We will merge CM changes every day and it will also contain experimental features from Avatar.

We highly recommend to wipe cache/data/dalvik before flashing the stable releases.

CyanogenMod RC5 merges.

Launcher:
- Grid size issue fixed across all devices and resolutions.
- Transparency setting changed(1 to 10 transparency, also moved from general to Drawer).
- Fixed the issue with the transparent fade animation while going from Apps to Widgets.

- A 4x3 weebo widget can be added in homescreen. It displays current location and recent actions taken by weebo. This list is updated whenever there is location change or any actions are performed by weebo.
- Fix for change of location when network is not detected
- Removed cell-Id display from recent events logs. Remove cell-Id entries from recent events list shown in weebo.
- Changed location tracking time options from locations page. Put a "recommanded" text for 4 hours option and removed "5 minutes" tracking time.
- Action notifications are getting cleared now
- Removed Actions in the notifications s when notification is cleared. When user removes notification the actions shown in notification are cleared.

This is for people coming from which kernel? Is it kexec, so any kernel? Or off of ICS? Also, must it be flashed in slot 1 in as v 3.11? Or any slot?

How would I go about theming the lock screen I don't see a option for it.. I know on miui you can change theme settings for different parts of phone but I don't see that here

Un lockscreen settings there is one that says theme bit you have todo apply the miui converted themes

Yes, it's kexec, you can flash it over any Kernel

Edit: There are 2 threads with this ROM, I suggest to OP that send a PM to any mod and ask to close this one...

There're 2 different Devices > CDMA/GSM.

In my opinion it was an good idea to seperate the Roms (Spyder/Umts_Spyder).

im a bit lost with miui/cm roms

I was previously on 4.1.2 leak and switch to my stock rom, wasnt thinking and got the ota for official 4.1.2, lost the main rom i was using... this ROM looks well put together but have never on a phone only tablet switched kernals etc, is it the same? I use ssv3 and am rooted, currently only have stock rom slot.
so basic steps for this would be?

create rom slot 1
clear dav/cache etc
install this rom
install kernal
install gapps?

sorry i feel lost switching to miui and cm based rom, have always used eclipse roms and tried a few others like jellywiz.

Create rom slot 1 activate it then wipe cache, dalvik, factory and system. I think those are the group of 4 in ss. Then install rom and gapps and you are good to go man.

Been running this Rom for the last couple days. Absolutely amazing Rom. By far my favorite Rom now. Fast, quick, lightweight. Hopefully over time, it wont slow down.

The only trouble I had was installing the Gapps for it. Even the Avatar Updater showed a recent updated Gapps and it too didnt installed. Overall its not a huge problem, just went to the store and downloaded the applications that I needed.

Is there a way to update to this version of the Rom without doing a complete wipe?

Does flash work on the 3/31? I'm on the version before 3/31 and it doesn't work..
