Many thanks for this great work.
A suggestion of translation in French :
Replace "Années" by "Ans", like that it's correct ;)

I've replaced for me, but i't's for the others ;)

Sorry but it seems yau haven't noticed my French translation:p
I post it agaiin:)

It's there though it's not present in the changelog.

Allow me to bring some improvements :
- "Années" replaced by "ans" as it's used to indicate the age (30 ans, ...)
- "Voir le nombre de jours à part..." par "Décompter les jours".

Here is the file with other minor changes.

Thanks VPAFan for your app and happy skiing.

ciao a tutti, come mai ogni volta che riavvio il programma é in inglese e non in italiano?

ciao Tino

Hello everyone, how come every time you reboot the program is in English and not Italian?

hello Tino

Hi mgdorbit,

the text you noticed is not from my app. I only do a read on the contacts.
Keep on testing and a happy new year.

greetz

Thanks for getting back to me and i believe i have worked out where the text is coming from. Its when you link contacts to Facebook in Sense.:)

Hi, i just tried the new version, but changing to the "Nederlands" (dutch) translation is not working correctly... It's visible in the list, but it changes the application to English, not "Nederlands"...

And in the translation-file please change "Jaren" into "Jaar"...
(Just like you did with the french translation "Années" into "Ans")

Thanks again for your nice app and your support !! Regards, Martin.

Hi everyone it is my first translation and post on the forum :)

Code:
<Polish>
  <miQuit value="Wyjście" />
  <miMenu value="Menu" />
  <miFilter value="Filtr" />
  <miFilterHeute value="Dziś" />
  <miFiltereineWoche value="w tym tygodniu" />
  <miFiltereinenMonat value="w tym miesiącu" />
  <miFilterdiesesJahr value="w tym roku" />
  <miFilteralle value="wszyscy" />
  <mifromBeginning value="od początku" />
  <mifromToday value="od dziś" />
  <miDaysFromToday value="pokaż dni od dziś" />
  <miabout value="O programie" />
  <Header value="Urodziny" />
  <inXXXdays value="pozostało ### dni" />
  <Years value="Urodziny" />
  <miLanguage value="Język" />
</Polish>

One more thing I can't see any difference between <mifromBeginning value="od początku" /> and <mifromToday value="od dziś" /> and I don't know how to translate it.

Regards Benek

This is a great app. Works well on omnia I900, custom 6.5, m2d ROM. However, in my view, there is an option that needs to be implemented.
Main problem is that no one checks birthday calendar everyday, which means that unless I open the program, there is no any reminder.
I'm testing lots of different things on my device but I'm not a developer or cook, so if any of my suggestions sound unrealistic, please disregard them or just mention in your reply if there is no way to implement them. As already was mentioned in the previous posts,it would be good to have either the integration with the home screen calendar or, if it is possible, SPB MS3 approach where the widget update itself with an upcoming birthday and the picture of the person. I know that m2d is built differently then SPB MS; so, I was thinking that one of the ways to work around the widget issue would be creating one more tab for birthdays.
The tab should update itself with, let say a picture of the person with the upcoming BD.

I have corrected some mistakes in my turkish translation after you have implemented them.

<Türkçe>
<miQuit value="Kapat" />
<miMenu value="Menü" />
<miFilter value="Filitre" />
<miFilterHeute value="Bugün" />
<miFiltereineWoche value="bir hafta" />
<miFiltereinenMonat value="bir ay" />
<miFilterdiesesJahr value="bu sene" />
<miFilteralle value="Hepsini göster" />
<mifromBeginning value="Yil basindan itibaren göster" />
<mifromToday value="Bugünden itibaren göster" />
<miDaysFromToday value="Kalan günleri göster" />
<miLanguage value="Dil" />
<miabout value="Program hakkinda" />
<Header value="Doğum günleri" />
<inXXXdays value="### gün sonra" />
<Years value="yasina gircek" />
</Türkçe>

Further I have a question. What is the difference between <mifromBeginning value="from the beginning" />
<mifromToday value="from Today" />
Isn't this the same? I have checked this two functions but the order of the birthdays didn't change. There are in the same order so I'am wondering where the difference is.

    With the HD2, you can link contacts to facebook profiles. The birthday is grabbed from their facebook profile, however Manila Birthday doesn't recognize this. Is there a way to recognize the birthday fields that were pulled from facebook?
