* Gapps - please, use always the last update !

Installations

* warning : first of all you should pay attention on the second post FAQ/INFO
*** you comes from stock EMUI ??
* unlock bootloader in order to be able to install TWRP
* please use this version of TWRP
* your fingerprints registered must be deleted in order to switch to RROS !
* please format data via TWRP and reboot again to TWRP !
* perform a factory reset
* connect your device via USB cable to be able to flash vendor.img
* copy vendor.img to external storage/MicroSD ( extract it from vendor.img.tar.gz )
* install vendor.img via "dd" command :

adb shell
dd if=/external_sd/vendor.img of=/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/vendor_a

FAQ / INFO

** F.A.Q / INFO **

- you cannot yet backup data into TWRP, please wait patiently the new update of TWRP with decrypt support !

- you can make a backup of the vendor partition if you want to come back to stock EMUI ( dd if=/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/vendor_a of=/external_sd/stock_vendor.img )

- device will reboot to erecovery from time to time - to prevent this issue, please do not keep device connected to USB cable for a long time !

- if you want to charge the phone battery, please use charging in the off mode - this trick will avoid device to reboot to erecovery !

- "reboot to erecovery" issue will be fixed once Huawei/Honor will release the kernel source code - so in the next update this issue will be fixed !

Q: SIM not recognized ?
A: please read those informations !

Great work from the Devs. Your hard work on AOSP is always appreciated. Since this is a Kirin 960 soc, are there any plans to get AOSP for the Mate 9? I am a fan of RR rom and would love to see that rom on the Mate 9. Sorry if this is a different topic from this thread.

I'm trying to get this to work on the P10 Plus. It's very similar, but it keeps throwing me errors.
Updater process ended with Error 4
Any help would be appreciated.

I figured that it runs on the same cpu and it's the same manufacturer, so it's possible that one would be able to port it to the p10. I was trying to do that, but I get stuck at the step where we copy the files in /system. There are simple no files there in this rom.

It is better to wait for a proper ROM for the p10
