RunnyFlash is my first ROM.
It is a fast and stable ROM based on Runnymede 1.05.401.4 RUU, with Endymion 2.1 kernel.

For now this ROM is likely another Sense 3.5 ROM, but the goal of RunnyFlash is to provide the user a high level of customization.
Therefore I'm looking for themers or people that would like to help me making this ROM more customizable.

ROM Details :
  • Based on Runnymede 1.05.401.4 RUU
  • Endymion 2.1 Kernel and modules
  • Aroma Installer : choose which apps you want to install
  • Fast, Clean and Stable
  • Rooted, Zipaligned, BusyBox installed
  • andrev_oc daemon (optional)

  • Adobe Reader
  • ES File Explorer
  • Flash Player
  • Facebook
  • Maps, Navigation
  • Street View
  • Tango

Found 2 bugs in the rom :
- Camcorder : sound recording problem
- ES File Explorer doesn't appear in app drawer when selected in aroma.

Will fix them ASAP.

While I'm trying to find a solution for the sound recording problem on camcorder, here's a trick that will make it work temporarily :
- In camcorder preferences, disable "Stereo recording". Your video will have sound then.

Doing my best to fix it quickly.
Meanwhile I will update the ROM to fix ES File Explorer installation problem soon.
Expect more add-ons also.

Great Idea!

Does work everything else, except sound recoder i.e. Cam / Video ?

Could you post some Screens, also of the Mods?

Is it possible to add the Reaper Control to the Addons? :)

Except buggy sound recorder, cam / video works.

Will push screens and a new version this evening.

Also for Reaper control I tried to ask lowveld for it he didn't answer. I'm waiting for his permission.

    You gave me permission to use reaper control from endymion, which doesn't appear in app drawer, whereas the one in Reaper ROM appears. So either I'm doing something wrong, either you're trying to fool me. What's wrong with you ? I told you, i can barely understand that you don't want me to use your work in my rom, but if it's the case, please tell me so, don't make a bad joke giving a wrong authorization...​

    My answer:

    Well, for starters, there's nothing wrong with me, and I don't like your tone. Not that you deserve with your attitude, but I'll explain anyway.

    - The Reaper control in Reaper ROM is tied up with Repaer ROM functionalities that won't work on Endy. If you put it there it will only look very bad, half the stuff won't work, and I won't have it, as it's my name on it also.

    - The reaper control in Endy is generic, and fully functional, that's why you can use it.

    - For integration with the control center, in Endy I made it so Reaper Control could only be called by control center, not the drawer. I forgot about it. I am not fooling you. I just maintain so much stuff that sometimes I forget some details. It is fairly easy for you to fix if you had given it a google search, but I'll even do it for you and give you an "app-drawer" showing reaper control.

    - Look around this forum. Then come back and say to my face that I don't let people use my work on other roms.

    - The world does not revolve around you.

    Upload of RunnyFlash v1.2 started, and moved wipe scripts to RapidShare (you will at least be able to download them now xD)
