Hey!

You may have seen my ICS Pattern lock post, I'm back again with something more conservative.

I've simply gone and got the CyanogenMod 9 boot animation and posted it here for you guys to use ;) Attachment at bottom of post ->

Therefore this obviously isn't my work, just giving people an easy way to install it.

OK, I'm assuming everyone knows how this works, but JIC :p

I don't know if this will work in RA, I used CWM.

1. Reboot into recovery (power down, hold "home" and "end")
2. Choose "install zip from sd card"
3. Select the zip, confirm
4. Watch the CM9-iness :)

Alternatively you can just extract the bootanimation.zip file, stick it in /system/media and set the correct permissions, etc., but what's the point 'cause I've given you this :silly:

I don't know if this will work in RA, I used CWM.

Does this work on Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830I?
i have a rooted phone (obvs) and would like to have this boot animation despite still being on stock ROM...

when it comes to bootanimations you need to look for the proper resolution for eg in case of dream bootanimations of 320x480 res will be perfect for it and yes the ace can use this bootanimation as long as the res is the same

just saying, it doesn't actually flash from recovery, wrong digest error.
gonna copy it into /system/media manually then i guess
