Are there tools (linux or windows) to extract data from those fastboot image files within those RSDLite-Images?
I'm on fido flashed with
USAVANQURGRCANA005.0R
rom found on sbf but I'm receiving validation error message when I try to apply the update
Blur_Version.7.5.492002.XT925-98.21.122002.RCI.en.CA.zip
Any suggestions?
Also, the annoying part was that I was actually on JB already, but then saw the root thread thinking I need to go back to ICS to get the root. now I can't seem to get back to JB anymore =\ ah....
If you flashed ICS through RSD you're out of luck since it flashes 492003 and not 492002 which is needed for the JB update. We gotta wait for JB fastboot files

Thx for the confirmation =\ So I guess there's no 492002 ICS that we can use to flash eh?
As of now there still isn't but if I find anyone with a nandroid of 492002 I don't mind giving the update a shot

You'd need more than the nandroid, also the boot.img, might be better if you go for the JB boot.img and flash the update after restoring the nandroid/system.IMG and flash the boot.img through fast boot, then boot in recovery mode and do the update.

How do you think so?
Of Course LTE is fully supported in Germany Retail.
If it don't work check your Simcard or let it be exchanged by your provider. At least with T-Mobile I know you simply walk into one of their stores an have your Sim swapped for free.
I flashed German Retail, flashed Rogers Modem. No LTE/4G. I am with Fido. I have APN set to LTEMOBILE.APN just like Fido suggests...
*#*#4636#*#*
See if LTE it's enable in phone info menu

Did you flash the fsg file too???
Sent from my unbranded Razr HD =)
I actually missed a step, erase modemst1 and erase modemst2. Now fixed.
fastboot erase modemst1
fastboot erase modemst2
fastnoot flash modem modem_signed
fastboot flash fsg fsg_signed
Is there a guide to making recovery flashable images from the sbf files? I've read warnings about sbfs and recommendations to use fruit cakes, but my searches for how to make a fruit cake have come up empty.
Alternatively, is the ancient(2011) version of sbf_flash floating around online the best way for a Linux or Mac user to flash one of these roms?
Thank you.
In the attachment placed screenshot of fw what neededHow to request for a firmware:
Submit the following files (using adb pull):
/system/default.prop
/system/build.prop
MSU.txt of Motorola Software Update (You only need the version of Flex)
Configuration > About phone > Screenshot
NOTE: I only MIGHT find that firmware or newer version of it.
Hi Dani - Its mean we can update now with RSDLite...?
Does it worth re-flashing again with RSD ?
