[HOW TO] Unbrick your Sprint phone from flashing an International gsm boot image

Anyone with a bricked phone from flashing the gsm boot image, flash this via Odin as a PDA.

It will flash a stock boot image back to your device.

1. Extract Odin files to a folder from the attachment.

How to get into Download Mode (For Odin)
1. Unplug the USB cable.
2. Shut down the phone.
3. Hold down the 'HOME' + 'VOLUME DOWN' buttons and press the 'POWER' button for about 2 seconds until a WARNING! Screen appears. Press the 'VOLUME UP' button to enter Download Mode.

2. Tick 'Auto Reboot' and 'F. Reset Time' in Odin and nothing else.

3. Download the boot image and load into Odin as a PDA.

4. Click on Start to flash the image.

DO NOT UNZIP THE BOOT TAR FILE, FLASH IT AS IT IS.

I'm working on it I should have adb root done tonight and will post that before starting work on a cross platform toolkit.

I am having the same problem...

When plugged into the computer in device manager it is listed as "QHSUSB_DLOAD"

Odin doesn't detect my device. I've tried pulling the battery and everything.

I can't get to boot loader, download mode, or anything...

Any tips or tricks to get it to boot?

It has been since Friday night that I unbricked my phone with your solution and have been like a kid in a candy store now that I have my sweet goodness GS3 to play with.

Awesome man!! Best news I heard since I been waiting for my damn phone to arrive!! LOL..

I actually owned the EVO LTE for about 5 days before I quickly got tired with the same old sense routine and returned it for this beauty of a phone coming soon. I was getting a little nervous when I saw the LTE forum taking off but now that I know you guys are on board with the SGS3, I'm sure things will get interesting here real soon!! :good: :good: :good:
