Step by step
- 1. wipe data,cache,dalvik cache and format system
- 2. install rom (no need for gapps as it is included)
- 4. wipe cache,dalvik cache and FIX PERMISSIONS
- 5. Reboot system
- 6. Wait till full boot of your phone

minor improvements.
performance tweaks.

cyanogenmod base update to rc1 by ivendor
camera works perfectly
using stock ivendor rc1 kernel
some minor fixes
scrolling is smooth,courtesy ivendor. (dunno what he did,but scrolling between homepages and settings,etc are so much smoother now.)

REMICS V4 DOES NOT HAVE OVERCLOCKING KERNEL. IT HAS STOCK IVENDOR'S KERNEL. IF YOU WANT YOU CAN FLASH CASTAGNAIT'S KERNEL. AFTER FLASHING CASTAGNAIT'S KERNEL,YOU CANNOT GIVE ME BUG REPORTS,BECAUSE I RECOMMEND IVENDOR'S KERNEL FOR V4. BUT IF YOU WANT USE CASTAGNAIT'S KERNEL. IT IS TOTALLY COMPATIBLE.

I think every body must first try to make camera work then make other roms.................
I'm tired of seeing camera bug mentioned in each rom.......

Yrah...it's a big problem but what we can do if developers don't know how to fix it?!? We can only try all those roms and prey that sometimes camera works!!

There are so much ICS roms at the time !
Its really nice to see more but it would be good if all the bugs in CM9 and the other roms are going to be fixed instead making new roms with similar boorriinng bugs!

Have to be fixed:
- Camera bug (not just third part apps!)
- USB thetering
- Wifi thetering

Its better to have ONE reallly good rom instead a lot of roms with similar bugs!

How would you want a "really good rom" if all the custom roms with ics have the same CM9 base? You should thank arco for making it for our device and that he tries to fix all the bugs like the camera and tethering and also oisis and all the devs and tester. When they succeed all the ics roms will be stable. You should blame Samsung because they did not make ics available for us and they should support the consequences or at least make the drivers available for the developers so that they can continue their work with no problems

look when the camera get fixs, OP will release an update. in the meantime stick to GB for a stable rom and use some ICS launcher. u wont die

You guyz are forgetting that this is a development thread... doesnt matter if they all have the same bugs... think of it this way, when one of the has the bugs fixed the rest will follow... till then its good to have different roms... just be thankful to the developers who are bringing a wide assortment of roms for a device which had nothing more than modified stock roms till we got a stable CM9/AOSP/AOKP thanks to arco and other developers...

You sir should not ask such a "stupid" question this early... the rom just landed today... instead of asking how the battery life is, you should try it yourself and leave feedback which would be more helpful...

I like very much this rom, because it has the s3 menu icons (like TWICS-Addon for CM9-nightlies mod) and the s3 task bar notification icons (signal, wifi, 3g, ...) (like S3Experience rom). Furthermore, ultra performance, ultra smoothness.

On the other hand, I have 2 serious problems. 1. Many apps like accuweather widget, samsung apps, voice recorder are not in the menu although there are in system/app, google collection and walkman music player are playing only content (pictures - music) from internal sd card and 2. google play (market) cannot install in this rom apps like dictaphone, endomondo, viber and many other important apps. Please, fix it and will be the best s3 "like" ics rom! Thank's!
