[ROM]U8800-51 Gingerbread Update Tutorial AM labs with 3g

This is a modified stock gingerbread rom for the u8800-51

Instructions are simple:
1. Make an imei backup using 5iromtoolbox.See Attachment.
2. Make a total backup using Roadkil's disk image(must be in pinkscreen to make backup). If there is an error, POST it.
2b. Follow this guide to flash old gingerbreadhttp://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1698308.
3. Wipe Battery Stats/cache/dalvik cache in cwm
4.Install it using unofficial cwm 5.5.0.4.
5. Reboot system and enjoy.
6. If there is a problem than revert it to stock 2.2 via disk image and start over again.

I've tried to install this ROM many times and failed it seems. I've backed everything up (just in case it didn't work), ran a factory reset, wiped battery stats dalvik cache and formatted /system, then proceeded to install this. I used the CWM you stated in the post and tried a few other versions. Phone is just stuck on the boot screen, and keeps resetting. =/

The AT&T Impulse 4G (u8800-51). I did however, get the CM7 mod to work after installing on top of this rom. Only issue is I cannot seem to add my google account to it, and the cyanogenmod settings in the settings menu does not work (force close).

I'll try it again, but how long should I wait during the boot screen resetting? I waited almost an hour the last few times I tried to install.

Open the zip on a computer and move the stock files, being the same as yours, back to phone on pink screen

When I try to restore my IMEI, 5irom says there's no backup. Imeibackup folder is there and there are two files, 10 and 11.
