Got a couple of Keyboard double clicks when entering details for the 1st time (Wifi selection page) and also screen rotation doesnt appear to be functioning..
If i reboot with the TP held in portrait, it come up in portrait but wont rotate to landscape when at the home screen.. likewise, Boot up on landscap, no rotation to portrait.. Setting in "Display" is set to rotate contents.. There doesnt appear to be the older 90,180,270 degree etc

Excellent work @flintman... Thank you

I have seen a few double key entries as well using the ASOP keyboard. But it seems to have settled down after a few reboots and letting the ROM settle in.
The screen rotation is definitely a problem but it appears to be so only for the home screen. Once I open any app, the screen rotation seems to work fine, all orientations. When app is closed the home screen reverts and is frozen in either landscape or portrait as described. I have tried several different launchers - all the same ooutcome.

UPDATE: well, so much for that. After letting the TP charge/sit idle for about 2 hours, now the screen doesn't rotate at all.

Thanks flintman for a great test build of MM for TP. Most of the apps run with no problems. But the Titanium Backup and facebook messenger are not working. The logcat is attached for your review. Thanks!

Without titanium source this will be hard to solve my hope is once I get the external sd mounting it will fix that. Helium works that is what I have been using.

Just wondering how the video works on this OS. I mainly use my touchpad when I travel, watching videos and reading Nook books.
Thanks

Thanks flintnan for your review. I did more testing this morning and I found two more issues. One is chromecast screen mirroring does not work. But i can cast video using chromecast to TV. The other thing is one tv streaming app does not stream successfully. The logcat is attached.
One observation is the settings->battery only shows the screen entry.
The majority of my apps work and thank you!

For me, rotation stops working after a deep sleep, for the home screen and in any apps. I have the same problem with my nexus 7, 2012, MM. No fix yet. This is the only outstanding for me for my nexus 7.

Thank you for a great OS. Only problem I have so far is that Facebook keeps shutting down. Also when it stopped rotating, I rebooted. I prefer landscape, so I switched it to stay that way in settings.

Not sure if this is a glitch, but I plugged the Touchpad into my computer and it found the Touchpad, but no files or folders.

Thanks for this Flintman.

I can confirm the autoration and Titanium Backup issues. For Titanium, I'm not sure the Restore or even the Freeze works. I tried to Freeze the stock browser and calendar, but didn't work.

Another question..
In the system settings under Evervolv->Updates, what should I be seeing? I assume these are going to some server that doesn't know about this MM ROM and MM gapps yet.

Ya no mm gapps are up there yet as still looking and right now only one mm which you are running. Apps sometimes require updates, mm not alot changed visually but there are alot of behind the scene changes.

Hi,

I have more entries in my Settings -> Battery page than just screen. It looks normal to me.

Hi flintman, i reviewed the logcat for the titanium backup crash problem. At the top of the stack trace, i noticed the seemplog keyword. I did a google search and found a similar crash for the other MM rom. The developer fixed it with the following:
Fixed some crashes by removing SeempLog (try TiBu and network settings)
I hope the above will help on our similar titanium backup problem. Thanks.

Ps. I found similar stack traces on th es file explorer crashes too.

I'll just echo the screen rotation problems.

I also had an issue with WiFi, it was connected but no internet. Sadly I rebooted the device because of the rotation problem so forgot about logs.

Other than that it seems to run very well, but that could be because I did convert it to f2fs and then did a fresh install.

I might be in the minority here but I don't really care about the camera...

If the initial release is this good, I can't wait for the next!

Props to everyone involved especially flintman

Well google released a bunch of code updates which hopefully fix a bunch of problems. it will take some time to merge in it and part of that code is the removal of some seelog stuff. Hopefully they fixed a bunch of other problems described here.

    ****************************************PLEASE READ**************************************************************
F2FS installs. If you want to try out F2FS you will have to wipe your data parition which includes your internal sd card. Some steps if you want to backup your data. PLEASE NOTE DON'T DO THIS IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING CAN CAUSE ISSUES OR LOST DATA. IF YOU DON'T DO THIS IT WILL STILL WORK WITH THE CURRENT FORMAT EXT4.
-- Flash the F2FS compatible TWRP Recovery
    -- Boot into Recovery
    -- Backup > Data
-- Save your internal SD card by transfering to your PC or if you have room your external_sd
-- Wipe > Advanced Wipe > Data > Repair or Change File System > Change File System > F2FS
-- Wipe > Advanced Wipe > Cache > Repair or Change File System > Change File System > F2FS
-- Copy the saved SD card content back to your device
-- Restore > Choose backup > Data (the warning about ext4 backup doesn’t matter)
    -- Advanced > Fix Permissions
-- Wipe > Advanced Wipe > Cache & Dalvik Cache
-- Flash the 2-12-15 test build and gapps to ensure you got them
    -- Reboot to system

    [UPGRADE(Dirty Flash)]
I have noticed if you dirty flash on first boot you may experience a little lag or possible reboot. After it settles down no issues. Not sure if its art related on upgrades or what. Its hard to pin point as it only happens once and smooth after that. Recommend after an upgrade let it settle in before playing hard.

    Thanks

FIrst boot is a little slow but that is due to art. I always recommend a clean install when upgrading but if you feel luck. Backup and try a dirty flash. If you have issues run a clean install and if you still have issues please post with a logcat. You can upload via bugreport in the toolbox under settings. If going from a differnt rom other then evervolv lollipop always clean install. ALWAYS REMEMBER TO BACKUP its important if you don't want to loose anything

NOTE: NEED a clean install if moving from a previous version and or another ROM.

Flashing from cm or any other ROM will require a clean install, dirty flashes can cause random reboots and random errors

    [Disclaimer]
I am not responsible for bricked devices, lost data, etc, etc. You all know the drill. BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP

    [Special Thanks]
i would like to thank Flemmard, Jcsullins, Dorregaray, Invisiblek, Milaq, and anyone else that helped to make this happen. More great work to come.
Mitchbaria --for a 4g model to start in on this

Looking like nightlies are back in operation. Tenderloin wifi and 4g models are up

These are the latest with the latest test builds.

Ok new builds are up for wifi and 4g model. The wifi i have the HD video issue all set and the 4g build has the HD fix and the Battery drain fixes(not as good as wifi model but still pretty good).
    14
for those with network connectivity / stability issue, can also give 'Use legacy DHCP Client' option a try; this option can be found under Settings, Developer options.
works well for me even though I m still on 0104 build; wifi used to cut in and out pretty option previously, now it occurs only once or twice during a 4-5hrs of video streaming.

OK new build up. Biggest things are updated kernel and wifi module. If you like performance go into the evervolv toolbox under performance. Switch the scheduler to FIOPS and governor to smartmax. Its a great setup and pulled 18000 on a benchmark. in regards to everyone issues with wifi. I switched to using backports which is an external module build. Its the same setup as the 3.0 kernel so hopefully this will fix everyones issues. Please let me know. You should see alittle saving in sleep. i would average -30's mA now its a solid -27mA. READ FIRST POST AS IF YOU HAVE WIFI ISSUE ON A FIRST START DIRTY FLASH JUST REBOOT.
    Happy flashing
