<+Zilch25> if you use adb reboot to reboot your phone and leave the USB cable plugged in, the next time the phone boots your baseband will be unknown

Well that would explain why we did not see a GPS fix. Froyo at last. I have been missing it moving from the nexus one to the captivate.

samfirmware.com wont have this until he hijacks it from this thread..
