damn, that's odd. I have the Platypus_Egg_v1 kernel overclocked with Tegrak. I'm currently running it on the stock KJ2 ROM, but I wouldn't think that would make a difference.

Two requests - please include the tun.ko module for VPN, and make sure the keystroke printk statements are commented out as described http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?p=24663352 there.

Also, a comment on the power menu. The recovery option makes sense to me, but the download mode doesn't. It's easy to accidentally reboot into download mode and have to pull the battery to get out of it.

EDIT
One other request, please include an md5 for the download in the first post.

Thanks.

Not trying to rush you or anything but do you thin.k you could release 3.1 today? Or at least at a version to fix overclock? Thanks I'm sure many of us would appreciate it.

Not even a huge deal. I'll stick with GOV2 until he's ready to release it. Devs have lives too..lol. Also, a recommendation Adjust? Can you please cook the Supercharge V6 script into GG3.1?

Requesting a quick fix to the overclock is not an unreasonable demand. Just a request, doesn't mean I somehow forgot that devs are people with lives.

@Adjust
The rom is running great and I have yet to have a single issue with it. If I do happen to find anything I'll be sure to inform you.

I would keep the download mode. There have been times where I just couldn't get the phone into download mode any other way (and I have done this successfully the "right" way). Just my 2c.

Sorry in any case, just don't want to scare off the one of the last remaining devs. I myself and attempting to dev, but I'm a beginner.

Also, the battery % mod, could you please include that as well Adjust?

Or you guys could simply open the build.prop and change values. SIMPLE change other than downloading another 140 MB.

I'm not a kernel developer so NO.
I'm not removing it from the power menu as well.
No.

Because of the sheer amount of downloads I got on GenericGinger 3.4 BETA alone, (204) in just one day, I've decided to release both a beta, and stable version of 3.5, read below to understand.

    3.5 changelog...

*added task manager back from GOV2 (The original Samsung one)
*added Voodoo sound control (for added audio control)
*MAY switch launcher to LauncherPro or Faster Than Light (FTL) more testing is required [in v3.6]
*added Tegrak Overclock (for overclocking ASAP)
*added Swype Beta 3.26 (EXTREMELY BUGGY NEED TO TEST)

Please note : For this particular version, I have released 2 ROMS. One has Swype Beta 3.26, and one doesn't have Swype at all.

If you want to test the ROM with Swype Beta 3.26, go ahead and let us know if it works and has the orange tracing line. If it crashes and is NOT stable, simply just download and flash the 3.5 ROM WITHOUT the Swype.

I saw this got ignored so i wanted to repost.. Or is it possible to add a theme like scarlet's leftovers to it?

Not ignored, I'm going to try to learn how. But I'm not confident with that yet.

BTW, didn't know there was an Android voice, didn't make any sounds for me.
