Evolution X is a flashable Custom ROM to bring a true Pixel feel to your Android Device at first glance, with many additional configurations at your disposal. We aim to provide frequent builds with monthly security patches from the latest aosp sources!

Usb Tethering

DO NOT FLASH GAPPS, ALREADY INCLUDED

First Time Install / Clean Flash
- Have stock Android 10 installed.
- Have bootloader unlocked
- Flash OrangeFox Recovery and get in it using button combination ( turn off the phone, hold volume - and power button until you see the LG logo then you continue holding volume - and you start spamming the power button)
- Go to Trash icon, format data, type yes (it will delete everything you have on your phone, please backup first)
- Copy the Evolution X Rom in your phone then flash it
- Reboot in system
- Reboot to recovery (optional)
- Flash Magisk.zip (optional)
- Reboot to system & #KeepEvolving[/SIZE]

Update/Dirty Flash
- Boot into recovery
- Flash ROM
- Reboot to recovery (optional)
- Flash Magisk.zip (optional)
- Wipe Cache
- Reboot to system & #KeepEvolving

OTA
- Download Rom
- Install
- Go to Magisk Manager
- Install Magisk to inactive slot (after OTA)
- Reboot & #KeepEvolving

As from version 4.6, you will have to wipe data if you're coming from earlier versions as from now on FBE is enabled and F2FS has been dropped.

Hi, I installed this RoM today. It doesn't recognize my external sd card. It says unsupported SanDisk sd card

You will probably need to format sd card. Just backup everything and do the format. Should be fine after

I have one of many LG G7 "unlocked" phones that began life as a Sprint phone and (presumably) the ebay seller flashed it with unlocked firmware. It shows no serial number, won't get OTA updates, and won't get fastboot (have to update it with LGUP and the phone's "download mode").

Might one of the many others with this crossflashed phone have some insight on how to install this Evolution X ROM onto this phone? Thanks!

I bought the same variant and I could install this RoM

You install 11g version (OREO) using lgup

You install 11g version (OREO) using lgup

That version will take you boot loader, flash pie boot which has twrp. You can find in the lg g7 forum. Then go to twrp using volume down and power button. You can flash this RoM then

How is the sound(loudspeaker)? In los17 there is looseness and sound level was very low.

Hello, and thank you again for the work. I have a problem, following the flash of the dtbo file

Impossible to redo an unlock either , same error

However, my bootloader is unlocked, and the root is active.
I had my phone bricked a short time ago, and they unbrick it from a distance. Was there a problem at this time ?

Hey, I would like to ask you about the recovery as well. I tried to use standard temporary recovery, but I am not able to use it since I flashed this ROM.

So using this is mandatory for this ROM?

i flashed boot.img and dtbo.img with qfil them restart my phone and i got just black screen when i press vol+ button red light start blinking now i can just get into qfil mode without any display on my phone.
any solution

do you do that on reboot?

(Hold power button + volume down until you see LG logo, then hold only volume down button and spam the power button, then press yes, yes for both questions and it will get you in twrp)
