Ok gapps flashed successfully, now everything works except superuser.... How can I get that working?

everything work but the superuser i dont have root! any piece of advice?

90kb free with jb gapps....

Anyone else having media FC all the time? (Results in market not working).

Also the instructions are bad, its hard to get a file manager without the market.

SU does not work for me.
Flashed it twice: the first time after flashing the rom and before fixing permissions and the second time after I saw that it doesn't work (again fixed permissions right after flashing the zip).. but none of my root-apps can get root access.

Testing, super smooth...
Had some FCs, have problem with sound, and won't start Camera.
WiFi, bluetooth, Data al works. Great prrogress!

i installed the rom, fixed permissions, installed su and booted. fine so far. now i cant get into cwm recovery to install gapps. any idea why cwm recovery wont boot? thanks in advance

Not rooted for me too.. BTW GoogleNow voice search is not working on my phone. It starts and recognizes what i'm sayin but it wont search anything..

Same, that seems to be the only thing not working thus far. Everything else works, SMS, data, calls, wifi, Google Now, market etc. all seem fine.

Guess we'll just have to wait for root. Other than that its awesome.

Hi Guys, I've flashed ROM ang gapps with no worries what-so-ever, i just followed the instructions by mkalter on his thread. Just one question, where is Google Now? Ir am I missing something? About the boot loop also, it was freezing every 3 soconds or so, i just waited another few mins and it booted fine..... :D Well done everyone! There are some very happy fans out there at the moment!

EDIT: Found it through lockscreen! :)

Flashed from CM9 nightly, originally tried ROM and Gapps together, then fix permissions and got the 'stuttering boot loop'. Went back into recovery, flashed rom, fixed permissions - booted perfect. Flashed Gapps and everything is working great bar Google Now - which appears to just constantly listen and not grab any results. thanks for the great work.

Loving the new notifications setup :)

    coming from any other rom:
    - make sure to have gingerbread bootloaders
    - flash allinone.zip
    - reboot recovery
    - flash allinone.zip again
    - flash gapps

    if you are coming from a previous version, older than 08/28 your data will get wiped due to new partition layout!

    Since official CM10 alpha got released today, I don't think, that there still is a need to update this rom. Going back to normal kernel business.

    uploading V2 right now to http://devil.haxer.org/jellybean/ as well as to http://rootaxbox.no-ip.org/divers/jellybean/

    because of my upload speed, this is going to take about 1 hours...

    changes:
    - rom slimmed down and gapps/su fix included (thx to bhu1)
    - replaced ear.apk with one supposed to work (user report)
    - replaced hw composer with the one from nexus s (this is the jb one, old release was using ics hw composer)
    - fixed recording of 720p (upstream fix to media_profiles.xml


    install instructions:
    - wipe (coming from previous version, you also can try flashing without wipe, and wipe only, if you are facing issues)
    - flash
    - fix permissions
    - reboot

    - low mem killer changes from steve kondik (cyanogen)
    - updateted recovery to latest version
    - fixed charging issues
    - vibrator intensity changes from cm team
    - dynamical fsync by faux123:
    The dynamic sync control interface uses Android kernel's unique early
    suspend / lat resume interface.

    While screen is on, file sync is disabled
    when screen is off, a file sync is called to flush all outstanding writes
    and restore file sync operation as normal.

    Had to clean my build folder. Wifi working now, after clean rebuild. I am trying to fix the other small issues, and upload the fixed version tomorrow morning... Compiling clean is taking many hours on my old computer...
