I've noticed Aroma sometimes hangs or doesnt install and gets stuck at Google Logo. It happens very randomly with me but rarely. Just do a reinstall and when going through
the install in recovery wait 5 seconds before pressing all the buttons, i always get a perfect install like this. Dont forget to Install Gapps right after.

ChangeLog
  • 1.0.0

Just flashed over AOKP's JB build 1, and also running air kernel which says it includes "Built Toolchain with Linaro gcc 4.7.2"
So far the difference in speed and stability is night and day, thanks!

Which Air Kernel R3, the 384 or 512 is the best one in concern with performance AND battery? - Thanks!

384 will definitely give you more battery life. Tbh i cant really say how much. Ive never done much testing in that area but im sure those in the air kernel cattegory will know. Personally i use 512 as its alot smoother to me. But each phone is different, some dont play well with 512. I say test em each for a day and write back. Id love to know

been stable for the first day and pretty smooth and fast. Just flashed air kernal 512 and 384 to try both, I'm on 512 right now but still working on tweeking to see how to get the most performance, not bad so far. Can anyone tell me if it's worth the time to put into trying to supercharge this rom cause it's a pain in the ass on these JB roms I still haven't got one to 100% or will it not do much, my speed test are only around 20mbps up and 12 down and I would love to at lease double the upload but I'm still a noob and learning more each day any help is always appreciated but so far I'm liking this build and I think I will stick with it.

Go for it. This rom will be around forever. And if you make a good mod id love to bake it in, or you couldn even submit it to devs.

I'll try 512 first for a day, then I'm sure to notice a difference after switching to 384. Thanks

So, excuse my ignornance, but I'm unsure of what the difference of these Linaro builds really is, if someone could educate me or point me in the direction of some information? :D

Well overall. Much faster and snappier real world use. It was alot faster in ICS but lots of linaro changes got merged with jellybean. But linaro stills adds alot of "snappiness" to jb. Google for more and in detail info. But overall, just expect a faster and smoother user experience.

Does anyone know what touch focus duration does in the camera?

When you touch the phone and have the Touch Focus at 15s, thats how long the phone will be focused for without auto-focusing until that duration is up.

hey gusy, new build up. as said 4.2 is considered experimental right now, will probably set up 4.1 builds again this weekend. know, until wednesday i will be busy with finals, after that i will have very slow internet as i will be away from home for awhile. helping out in the thread will be easy, but because of the slow internet i will only make builds when there are new fixes or substantial features, switching to apoph builds right now iwll be better for you crack flashers. no wipe should be needed just from switchin unless he states otherwise. sorry my support hasnt been the best recently, next year it will go back to when i first started
