Build prop edit worked like a charm. Also has any one had when you wake your phone up the hardware keys light up but the screen won't come on. Done it on the ota also so I think it's my phone.

Nothing wrong with your phone. It's a bug with cm and I've also seen it on tw. You can try increasing your min cpu frequency up 1 step. It's supposed to help reduce the frequency of the issue

Anyone observing the delayed audio on answering inbound calls? This was fixed on CM10 but is back for me. On 12/29.

I dirty flashed the 12/29 official nightly over the 12/26 nightly with CM Updater and now my SMS won't work. Not even if I install a third party app such as GoSMS. Anyone else encountered or know how to fix this? Wiping everything & doing a clean install of 12/29 or 12/26 doesn't fix it. Thank you.
Absolutely! Without a doubt. It seems a lot of the major components are in working order.
Do you consider this nightly to be solid enough for daily driver use with only moderate upkeep?

I just installed the 27 build, so I could avoid the issues of the 28 29. Full wipes and everything else, but there was some pretty severe flickering going on. I went back to the 26 build with full wipes and everything seems to be working fine so far.
one issue, but I don't think a log cat is going to help here, is recent apps. hold down the button for recent apps they flash up, as soon as you let go of the button the screen stays dimmed but the recent apps go away.
Anyone else?
Blasted from my Samsung Galaxy SIII (CM10).
I am having the same issue. I did not try the unofficial roms though. But I have tried the 12/24 and now 12/29 release. Still same issues. No lock, no matter how long I wait, or what I cache or data I clear. I did a factory data reset and cache clear before installing 10.1. So I assume it was not a dirty install. Thanks for the new thread.
I'll try to post logcats later but seems like I'm having gps issues. Tried what invisiblek suggested as well as the agps flash test going around. Nothing seems to work. It just won't get a lock.
Do you know if there's any comits for this fix in the next nightly.?

CyanogenMod 10.1.0 Release
Tonight we are ending the Release Candidate phase and pushing CM 10.1.0 to general release.
The files will be landing on our servers as they complete the build process. The list of devices will be in line with the devices that have received release candidates to-date. At this time, we do not plan on incorporating devices that did not receive a RC into this release. Also absent from this release are Tegra 2 powered devices and many of the Exynos based Samsung devices. We will provide a status report for these devices later this week.
Next on deck
With the 10.1.0 code finalized, we will return to our M-release cycle and work towards adding additional functionality and features; including the new Privacy Guard feature, which was merged into the nightlies today.
There are many new and exciting things planned for the remainder of the year, just wait and see what we will do next!

Can somebody start a petition to get rid of the lame CRT screen off animation that makes the phone feel like its from 1995 and replace it with a nice fade in and out like an Asus transformer? Thanks.
The devs are very aware of this. IIRC correctly invisiblek said it's a kernel issue and is fixed in an updated kernel that is still a work in progress.
I tried disabling JD for a whole day to see if that made a difference. No change...
I did change one of the settings within Wifi to not try to use as little battery when wifi is on and that seems to help keep wifi on a bit longer, but then it all goes to hell when it disconnects.
