Has anyone gotten the app Directory Bind to work with this kernel?

Faux is in the hospital with his wife (who either had an accident or some other thing that sent her to the OR).

He won't be here for a few days

Wishing the best Paul for your wife. I'm in and out of hospital 7 years on from my thing, always hate going in and my wife hates it. At least the drugs I get are the strongest. One positive heh

Quick Update:

My wife was finally able to check out of the hospital last night around 9 PM. She's home recovering (still experiencing severe pain :( ) I will try to update the kernel to 4.2.2 when possible. Thanks for all the well wishes and support!

Please, and I believe I speak for everyone here, regardless of whether we use your kernel/s or not, take all the time you need an then some. This stuff can wait. Life and family comes first (I hope).

You probably have plenty already, but I want to throw my well wishes and support in there as well, as you can never have enough. The idea of anyone in severe pain breaks my heart. I'm going to med school in a year, so I'm going to have to learn how to deal with this stuff, but I hope I never lose my empathy. I can only hope that one day I'll be able to help those like your wife. Best wishes Faux; Be strong for her, and I hope she feels better and fully recovers soon

Nice kernel. Is there any way to lower the GPU from the default? Also, no matter what I set the CPU frequencies at in Trickster, it's still maxing out at 1.6GHz using interactive.

Maybe trickster needs updating, because in faux clock the values stick, it's that smooth I've set mine to 1.00ghz :victory:

Yeah it doesn't work for me either on this kernel.
Try this, it works for me. Change 1000000 to whatever your max freq wants to be, eg. if you want 1.3GHz then 1300000

You can use init.d or use a app to run this script for 1Ghz

#!/system/bin/sh

echo "1000000" > /sys/module/cpu_tegra/parameters/cpu_user_cap

OK. Let me clear its data and reboot.
Edit: Nope. No matter what I set the Max speed and hi_speed frequencies to, I'm still maxing out at 1.6GHz.

Try changing the cpuquiet to runnable.

Open Beta may not be stable and may cause issues with your phone!

By loading open beta you have agreed to:

    1. To report all random reboots with associated /proc/last_kmsg
    2. To provide feedback on errors or bugs with detail phone information such as ROM, kernel version, and apps
    3. Participate in Forum discussions for the beta software with others without FLAMING each other or post useless information such as:
    a) Phone doesn't boot (without providing any additional information, ROM versions etc)
    B) phone is too hot (without providing any additional information, ie OC freq, UV etc)

The Open Beta system is designed to have the community help each other and the developers. This way, all potential bugs are flushed out so the final released version will be stable and error free. The more actively you participate in Beta Testing the better the final product will be (you are really helping yourself to create a better community software).

If you do NOT agree with the statements above, DO NOT load my Open Beta software.

Kernel 015 Open Beta 1 is out! (BETAs ARE ALWAYS ULTIMATE VERSION unless I stated otherwise)

Sorry, it's been SUPER SUPER HECTIC and BUSY for me... I won't be able to do much development or answer questions for the next few days :(

Just wanted to let you guys know. I am working as much as I could in the background and I will squeeze out any spare time to get things rolling again.
