I'm not troll'g, just asking.
We got MIUI which is working... slow...
some ports from official, but nothing else.
And... a numberous ammount of kernels.

We need stable ROM, not kernel : )

Then build one yourself.

I am testing this kernel for now,no problems so far.
Preformance is quite nice,i am not sure if it's just me or the mySENSEdx5 is working really faster and animations are faster.
Great work. :good:

Oh, so I make a mistake, I was thinking that you know something about ROM's, my bad...

Anyway, it's not working with MIUI it is?

I flashed the new kernel and tried CIFS.

Good news is:
With CIFS Manager a got a green light ("sucessfully mounted"), also with mountManager.

Bad news is:
I still can not see any files (with ES FileExplorer) after the mount ... perhaps I am doing a wrong step.
I think it is the best result I saw on the desire X, but not working (completely yet).

Can anyone else test cifs, too, please ?

Recommended: Use PurePerformance tweaks on this kernel to get optimum performance and battery saving!

tried it, felt no difference at all. usb-tethering made problems after flashing.

im going to make my own performance-tweaks collection with no tweaks at all, but just a lot of useless code, i'll name it "PlaceboEngine"

enough kidding.

btw. have about the same score in antutu, score is fluctuating like sh*t anyway, highest i got was 7772.

New kernel coming up soon with version 3.4.11 or above. Also some stuff removed and little bit of undervolt introduced. I'm a bit worried about uV so that will require testing...

Finally got to test cifs myself too with this kernel. My results: It's working just fine with our corporate samba server! Maybe you need to set a few options in cifs manager to get it to work with your NAS, because we may use some different settings than your NAS does. I read some review on Google Play saying you need to set the options nounix,file_mode=077,dir_mode=077 to get it to work; otherwise you'll see empty folders (exactly your point, right?). Sadly, I don't have a NAS at home to test with, so you need to try yourself again. So try and report back if it worked.

Really great news you went sucessfully through the "hell of cifs" and this kernel is really working, dansou901 !
I wish to be at your point...

So I added file_mode and dir_mode parameters, but my samba-sharei is still not working.
The error is at the "mount" command, please have a look at the attached protocoll of mount manager

yes, I must be using some wrong parameters on my side, this kernel is perfect then :good:

Why do you use Mount Manager? I got it working with Cifs Manager (also available on Google Play for free), also I see that you are missing the nounix paramater. Just try to set it. Write the following in Cifs Manager parameters field:
nounix, dir_mode=077, file_mode=077

Ok so before you throw up your question on oc read below:

Well we are aware of partial overclocks in the past and still I haven't achieved 100% oc yet. I have added lot of frequencies in the kernel and the oc ones ONLY work with ondemand. What changes I made to sources? See the latest commit. I have done what cute_prince said.. now if you have any other ideas then pls do tell me, I'll implement them immediately . This wont make your games smooth because I think we need to oc the gpu too with it..

Hey guys I've got some news for you. I have swapped my desire x for a lenovo a706 from a friend of mine. So no development would be coming from my side. I might return this phone but this would happen only when I get bored with my new phone, which I don't think would happen anytime soon(it runs asphalt 8 smoothly and i've got tons of games to try!)

Overall, It was a GREAT experience developing for this device and I learnt ALOT from it.
Thanks for everything people. You guys supported me all this while.

    -Memcopy(ram optimize tweak) added
-Added power efficient workqueues from linux kernel 3.14

    How to use Flick2wake?
When you screen is off just swipe anywhere on screen vertically to wake your phone.

    How to use Logo2wake?
Just press beneath the logo to screen of/off. You will feel a vibration when you press it.

    How to activate/deactivate those mods?
Push this script to system/etc/init.d/ and follow the instructions inside it.
    Use these commands:
    Code:
    adb remount rw
    adb push tsmods77 system/etc/init.d/
    12
So here it is.. The only app which can genuinely tweak my kernel features properly :p

    http://d-h.st/PcZ

    Features as of now:

    -Turn on/off dynamic fsync
    -Turn on/off usb fastchg
-Switch between different ts mods. You can enable/disable all of them simultaneously!

I had few more ideas in my mind which I wanted to implement in this app. Might update this later, lets see.

Btw im collecting money for my play store account. Feel free to donate if you like my work :D
    Thanks!
