[ROM][7.1.2_r36]LineageOS for Lenovo Vibe K6/Power/Note/Plus (karate/karatep)

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 6, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

Known issues:

Encryption (You have to format data whenever coming from stock ROM or any other encrypted ROMs)

Report bugs:

DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed

Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)

If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log

Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

Follow Instructions Carefully otherwise you will get error :

Wipe cache, dalvic cache,system,data
Format data (to remove encryption support else you'll end up with encryption unsuccessful)
Reboot into recovery again
Flash ROM-Flash Gapps together
Done-Reboot Now
Enjoy the clean rom

Can I flash 0711 build over 0708 build after formatting cache?

8/7 & 11/7 builds has same bugs nothing changed
1) camera panorama not working
2) power off and charge. phone is automatically turning on.

above bugs are not too serious for me but one big problem is high battery drain in idle state. lost 4% in 20 min without using phone

Mention your variant of K6 & proper log for panorama crash or not working whatever u meant :'v

Bugs i found for K6 Power K33a42, Lineage 14.1 (lineage-14.1-20170711-UNOFFICIAL-karate)

Before i start off, this rom is highly stable. Kudos to dev

1. If the phone is switched off, plugging the charger makes the phone turn on.
2. Battery drainage is real high. Max screen on time is below 2.5 hours and that too on moderate usage. Keeping the phone idle with no apps running in background will lead to 4-5% pf battery drainage in every 20-30 minutes.
3. Double-tap to wake up is not working.
4. Something seems off about the notification lights as well, they won't pulse, stays lit until phone is unlocked(maybe i missed some setting to do that, help me out if i did)
5. There is an option where a user can click panorama photos from front cam in stock camera app.. that is missing here. ( Don't care about this feature)

To begin with, the rom is very stable the overall performance is good and everythings seems to be fine except for the bugs previously mentioned. But the weird thing is that i can't make Magisk v13.1 to pass the safetynet test, in the previous build I got it working with both test passed but in this build all I can get it's the basic integrity test to pass.

PS:

Maybe it's just my phone (K33B36) but it seems that soft reboot it's not working properly i got stuck in the lineage splash screen

Dt2w is not a lineage feature. It's not a bug.

are you using jio sim? battery drain happens if i use jio. if i disable the jio sim then there is no battery drainage. battery drainage was happening on stock nougat also. was dropping 20% battery in ultimate power save mode in 6-7hrs.

Yes I'm using Jio. It's the only sim my phone has. Anyways I'm thinking to revert back to stock marshmallow which was the last stable stock rom. Its battery backup is good.

yes. if you are using jio then mm is best. in nougat i receive low bars on jio + battery drainage is too much.
