Re: [ROM] 4.2.1 | Jellybean | AoCP 5 | The Collective | 2/2/2013

Hey all.
Welcome to AoCP 6.0/4.3!
I want to thank my best friend crt60 and the rest of my fellow Collective Team for letting me help with testing and for all the time and constant improvements right up to release.

Everyone be nice.......No arguments -No trolls - No belittling ~~~~~~~~~~~~>NO BULLSH*T!

Now Come And Get It!

You must do a full and complete wipe if coming from another ROM or AoCP 4.2!

No TiBu system restores at all from another or 4.2 AOCP. Can do app.

WE RECOMMEND FULL WIPE.

MUST USE NEW GAPPS WE SUPPLY

New 4.3 AoCP 6!!!!!
Any issues let us know asap please.
Everything is working fantastic on our Infuse's!

Please reframe posting your links on our threads. Any link posts must go through me first. We want a clean thread with known Works and Fixes.

Mobile Network would not turn on for me. Gonna Re-Flash.

I have the same problem. I reflashed and mine still doesn't work. Anybody else have this or get it to work?

Other than that, this is a great rom!

Edit: Changing the apn settings as suggested in the below post worked for me. I used the apn on the first page of this thread http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1791526.

Would this mean that if we are coming from gingerbread that we don't have to flash an ice cream sandwich ROM first?

Thanks.

I too have had constant issues with APN's and mobile data on EVERY 4.2.1 build. 4.1.2 works fine. I even stepped down from 4.2.1 to 4.1.2 and my APN's and mobile data came back. Without flashing back to stock and going through the whole GB to ICS to JB. I started a thread already.

In my messaging app, when I select the dark theme the theme stays light. Does this happen for anyone else?

Due to the ever growing demand of life and the fact, the development team
has pretty much dwindled to 3 Collective members working on the project.
I am sad to say, this will be the final release of AoCP by the current active Collective team members. It has been a great 3 years, and I want to thank everyone that supported all of the Collective projects, from Fusion, to Legend and last but not least AoCP.
There are plenty of great developers working hard to keep your phones current and I hope you give them the courtesy and respect for their countless hours of time and hard work.
Who knows, maybe someday AoCP may return with new talent.
    Thanks again for your support.

FIRST!!! Wait never mind, story of my life, lateness....but lookie here, let's see if my Infuse still likes me, Thank you for the Work!

The default music player in AoCP doesn't quite work with the bluetooth in my 4Runner. It will neither play on it nor broadcast the song title. Interestingly, if I use my up/down button on my steering wheel to change songs, it WILL change the song on my phone (lol).

    picture.php

Has this ever been reported? I know Apollo works from comparable Infuse ROMs, but am intrigued with the simplicity of this default music program. If you know a fix, I'm game for advice. If I should forsake it and go with another music player, I'll do that. Thanks.

Its just the stock android music player, mainly just something that's built in and ready to use. Pretty much just a no frills, basic player. Apollo is more sophisticated as are most music apps on Google play. Really no plans to develop it any further right now. Its assumed people are going to install a music app from Google play if they need more features.
Also we are working on updating Bluetooth and other features for the next release.
