Oh!! Badluck again.... the apps shud be in eng though language can be chaged of system only, apps need translation....
Keep discovering roms and try...

Backstreet Mod 4.0 A5
Is working flawlessly on our A9...it is finest GB rom...
If someone interested....pm me or post here to know the whole procedure for booting d rom with all sensors and functions working...

I flashed the backstreet mod today. I am experiencing a lot of "visual"bugs in it when i change the lcd density. Kinghacker how did you make it work? Pls post the instructions fast.

2. Try it...It may work...but keep backup of ur current system..

    Voila!!!!!
    I found a way to run Karbonn A5's and Karbonn A7's GB based roms on our beloved Karbonn A9!!!!!

    First flash the downloaded rom of A5/A7 on A9 through CWM....

    Reboot.....
    If you hear a sound and black screen or no sound only black screen...den u r good to go further......

    Goto recovery mode...
    Restore boot.img of A9...
    Again reboot....

    Victory!!!!!!! You will see smaller icons on bigger screen of our A9....

    Just change pixel density from build.prop to 240 using any build.prop editor.....(u must be rooted)...

    Super Victory u will be running the Roms on A9 which were actually made for A5 and A7....

    Note:
    No resolution problem as all of the phones contain HDPI folder in all the apps...

    This method is given by me because unzipping the rom and adding boot.img of our device and again zipping it and flashing....doesn't work most of the time...so no quarreling with me....


    I tested...
    1. Ics1.0.6 A5
    2. Backstreet Mod A5
    3. Meosuper's Galaxy Mod A7
    4. Meosuper's Xperia Mod A7
    5. Backstreet Mod 4.0 A5 (new)
    6. Backstreet Mod 4.1 A7 (new)

    I dont remember if I tried other roms!!!!

    U must hav backup before doing this...dont blame me afterwards....

    This research definately deserves atleast a thanks....so press thanks button....believe me it's frreeeee.......

    Important: sensors may not work....

    Edit: I have provided Patch for sensors and camera in BM 4.0 Patch thread...

    I don't understand how did cheaper phones like A5 and A7 got ICS update and we didn't get. From where did they obtain the required baseband and kernel files?
