When coming from any other ROM, including CM-11.0, you must do a factory reset / clean flash.

The first boot can take a very long time. Don't assume that it is a bad flash, boot loop, etc. until it has sat for at least 5 minutes.

Nightlies are auto-built and if there are no problems available at:

http://download.crpalmer.org/nightlies/mondrianwifi

There isn't an official gapps package and I am currently using the packages provided by dhacker29. I would recommend using that for now:

Awesome, been running this for a little while on my personal device.

Glad to see a public release from you!

Edit - if you have trouble booting, try wiping your internal SD in recovery. Obviously backup anything on the internal SD to an external SD before doing this action as you will lose all data on the internal SD.

Note - a factory reset is not sufficient - /data/media needs to be wiped, aka the 'internal' SD.

This is a very early alpha build. I wanted to get a chance to get some feedback, hence I'm posting this for you to play with. I would strongly recommend making a backup and then doing a factory reset and wiping /system before installing this (and the new gapps). I am currently using the following gapps which may or may not even be the latest gapps from dhacker, but that's all I have tested with so I recommend using them until more official ones are available:

(link to come in a bit, might have just realized that the latest sync was really broken in the mainline code)
http://download.crpalmer.org/downloads/gapps/unofficial/gapps-lp-20141109-signed.zip

Any *device specific* feedback is appreciated. If something in the android software doesn't work, don't report it as cm-12 is still in very early stages. But something that looks like it is related to our device specifically would be appreciated (with the usual logs, etc.).

Known to be broken:

* Video recording
* gps
* DRM (google play movies, netflix, etc).
* selinux is in permissive mode (aka, not as secure) for now

Very Awesome!!!
I want to testing it.
may I ask you a download link?

Sent from my SM-G900L using XDA Free mobile app

I haven't tested in twrp, I only use cwmr even though that's probably going away...

And, you guys are too fast. The build I posted has a bad commit in it which jacks up the permissions across the system (e.g. camera permissions are "revoked" for the camera app). You're free to use it but it 's potentially pretty jacked up. I was going to get a new build up but my kids are home from daycare today and nap time wasn't long enough....

Take your time. ;)
I'll try to CWM. CWM 2014-06-05 - fail:crying:
Maybe there's a new version?

Can you send me the contents of /proc/partitions and the output of running getprop? I wonder if you have a slightly different variant...

Who needs official when you already have this outstanding rom? HIHI

I have to say I will stick to this rom, and I strongly advise donations to the developer @crpalmer.

    Keep up the excellent work.

The official nightlies replace my builds.

I have only been running builds so that you guys could enjoy you CM-12 fix prior to official builds getting launched. There were no extra commits, changes, etc. in my builds that aren't in the official builds anyway.

The recent video playback problems are caused by a CAF commit to the QCOM / msm8974 media support. That makes it very generic and not something that I can (or should) ask to have undone. Why this breaks for our device and not for any (? most)?) other devices is a mystery to me at this point.

I will continue to look into it.

dhacker is releasing gapps packages fairly often and rather than keep updating the OP, I just updated it to point to the mirror I maintain:

There isn't an official gapps package and I am currently using the packages provided by dhacker29. I would recommend using the latest gapps-lp-* from my mirror

    http://download.crpalmer.org/downloads/gapps/unofficial/

(which is also probably a hint that I just put a new package there).
    8
    I tested new build 23\12.
H/W - The sound of hissing and video slideshow
    H/W+ - freeze player

I think that video playback should be fixed in tomorrow's build

If so, Merry Christmas from me!

EDIT: Including 1440p on youtube, at least for me.
