I am making this rom for two weeks and since it is my first UNI rom do not expect the same quiality as in my Blueangel roms

This is beta quiality rom, it may contain unpredicted bugs and may harm the information on your device - Use it at your own risk !!!

Short Description:

Rom Version: 2.65.01 (based on the OEM)
Rom Date: 24.04.2009
OS: 5.2.21501 Build 21501.5.0.70
Page Pool: 4 MB (i think this is enough - WM6.5 needs more ram to work with)

Made new animated bootscreen (took me 8 hours to extract edit and compress and actually make it work smooth on UNI). XIP was work entirely by sun_dream as he helped me in a lot of nk.exe tweaks. Devided all applications in groups and created folder icons for them. Predefined CHome Icons for Gmail and Yahoo mail accounts

So inside is:

HTC Animation (Rhodium port)
HTC Comm Manager (Rhodium port)
HTC Calculator (Rhodium port)
Esmertec Jbed 20081203 (includes gmail and opera mini)
HTC Task Manager 2.1 35539 (provided by sun_dream)
Vijay Candella
Changed the icons for the most common tasks in taskbar (these look more slick IMO)

This is full 21501 VGA WWE Port which means that adobe flash and IE6 are included.OEM softweare is the common for this device so thats why i do not mention it.

maybe your device is not SuperCID to get this error, anyway, the exe is self extracting RAR archive you can extract it to any folder and try to run the RUU from there

installed and testing....

about 9-10mb aprox. of ram during a normal use without any program... but stable.

really stable in general...

Well i havent abandoned BA, but now will make roms for both devices, and maybe for more devices in near future

glad you liked my first rom, and thanks a lot for the nice words

My theory about UNI roms is when rom is made to work well on 64 mb UNi it will work perfect in 128 mb uni, when i get tired of BA i will use it to upgrade my uni, but in this moment i use my BA as primary phone and it works pretty well

just hoping that sun_dream will follow too . as a former BA user myself, I am sure it will be a great tandem, explode & sun_dream, for and to the delight of UNI users... regards to both of you guys, and many thanks for your ROMs btw

Verry good ROM, stable.
Free RAM ~10MB but without any problems.
Serveral hours in test

Why don't you cid unlock your device, then you can flash any rom you like without modifying it


Well sun_dream makes chinese roms mostly, but he helps me a lot with the rom work. Also he releases hes roms in hes blog.

experienced my first reboot after one day of testing but basically a good working ROM albeit quite slow for UNI 64.
