TWRP HONOR 8 - Compatible LineageOS 14.1​


Downloads :

- TWRP Only For LineageOS-14.1 : twrp-3.0.3-frd-LOS.img md5 : 25b44af806be7bd2e056fc95c34213b7



Installations :

- put your device into bootloader mode ( > adb reboot bootloader )

- install via fastboot ( sudo* fastboot flash recovery twrp-recovery-N.img )

- reboot device ( sudo* fastboot reboot )

- * only on Linux Desktop/Laptop !


Source : TWRP-Honor-8 , branch cm-13.0


Warning :

- please, choose "cancel/skip" if device ask for password !

- encryption not supported

- not compatible with stock Huawei EMUI Rom !

Thanks for bringing this to us Honor 8 users!

Is HWC disabled by default on this ROM? Also what does charger (Not Off Mode) mean? Does that mean the phone won't charge if it is powered off?

Not yet, but we'll try to add support for dual SIM devices in the future !

Until the next Android update, respectively CM-15.0 , we have all the time ( almost 12 months ) to fix only a few issues .

Definitely , all issues here will be fixed much earlier, to be used like a daily stable rom :eek:

    Right now I managed to fix Camera issues on "taking pictures" ...

    There is only a few issues on video recording, for moment working only : Back Camera : 1080p & CIF ; Front Camera : CIF !

    Video recording issues should not be too hard to fixed ... I hope to be fixed until the weekend to be able to release a new update :eek:
